@PianoGameboy, you are correct. For some reason I thought there was a play it loud! variation that had that look.

In any case, I know ASM has a kit that you can do your own paint job if you're up to the task:

That's pretty awesome. I'm surprised there's such a large community for the VB. Here's the actual topic: http://www.planetvb.com/modules/newbb/v … mp;start=0

Here's screenshots:

might just be easier to buy the original gameboys that came like that. Not sure who sells them stand alone. I'll keep searching.

Well done. What did you create these songs with? Sounds like more then just a tracker.

The drum line is great, i love slow chip music.

Man, this is great. Really well done. Flute and Chip, who would have known. I hope you create more like this.

Well I think you're mistaken about the amount of work these take.  Desoldering the CHR and PRG for 50 carts is pain staking and takes a lot of time.  I worked on producing this for 1.5 years + working within the limitations of the art was also very tricky.  I also laminate the labels, polish the copper traces.  Basically if i want to get paid about $2 an hour for producing this the price would be like $100 a cart.  Not to mention No Carrier's hand in coding this.

I didn't know you had to replace parts inside the cart, with this in mind I see how this is a reasonable price. How do you sell these? Is it the cart only or is there a holder/case?

This is a warning to any other potential sellers. Don't advertise anything your selling on this site unless its dirt cheap.

This is incorrect, which shows you still don't understand the reaction the community took. The point is, do your research, know the product and value it at an appropriate price. Since this community has a huge amount of modders, we are not going to fall for your over priced mods. You were trying to sell a mod to a community that creates these mods, how do you expect to get away with pricing it incorrectly.

In any case, we welcome potential sellers, just do your research.

Also, no one wants you to leave, no one told you to leave, we just wanted you to see your mistake and move on. You're just drawing attention to yourself because if you weren't, you wouldn't label this with the "GOLD DMG" guy to draw eyes to the post. But Cheers mate.

I haven't seen a guide that says that, but I found out pretty quickly you want it a bit looser then factory sealed. You'll get black marks on your LCD because PINs are touching screen causing temporary LCD Leaking effects.

All the back lights I've bought from Nonfinite seem to be pretty thin. The v5 didn't feel snug, I think they did a good job on that sizing. Just an FYI.

haha, I feel welcomed to the US of A. Thank you. It's to cheap though. Shipping alone is probably going to be between 10-15$

wow this took almost 4 years to be built. That's crazy.

Still debating if I need one of these. I've never wanted to use a DAW, but the LSDJ Keyboard from Midi could be fun.

Damn man. I hope you are staying strong. I'm sorry you lost someone so close to you.

I'm not sure how you are doing with work now, but craigslist always has new listings. Hopefully that can help you a bit. Best of luck mate. The community is always here for you.
