I'm looking to make a Horn/Trumpet sound in LSDJ for a cover I'm wanting to do.

Has anyone made a patch like this and would be willing to share it? Or at least an idea with what to start with when making an instrument in pulse/wav channels?

many thanks heart

Shipping to UK?
Also do any of the grey boys particularly those in custom cases have any mods on them?

I am getting one of those pink shells at some point urghhhhh

I think I'll just retire the front and frame it ahahah

I've heard many clear coats cause the sharpie to run/bleed because it contains various solvents/alcohol? hmm

Hurrigame Boy and Knuckle Joe played at a show of mine last year, nice to see Hurri is back into writing chiptune stuff!

Recently I had my yellow Gameboy front signed by the entirety of Enter Shikari and I'd like to protect the signatures and am unsure whether to use a clear spray coat or something else?

They used Gold and Silver permanent Sharpie pens (will try and edit in a pic later). What would you guys suggest to help increase the lifespan of these signatures? I'd like to use it as a gigging Gameboy eventually.

Montana is good

WOOPWOOP Joeteach! Love the article heart

Yeah, there's a lot to be said for just going for it. It's not like you're gonna get in trouble for trying. smile

I agree with Imaginary.. Covers are a great way to start most definitely.

I've played a fair number of shows with my Gameboys. Both straight to PA and through my little mixer and then to PA. You can't hear the hum, just EQ your music a little bump the bass lower the highs and it seems to cut it out. Any other humming can just be put down to standard PA feedback.

I'm really interested in trying this software out or at least working towards that.. I'm running on Mac (but i also have a PC) and it would be exceedingly helpful to have some kind of step by step tutorial on how to open and use the software.

I don't know a huge amount about computers and running commands at all so I'm struggling to get my head around any of the documentation on the github to find something useful for a beginner.

Anything you could do would be helpful.

In the year since I started.. I've probably written about 18/20. Some of them are awful and never get played anymore and then theres 'songs' using that term loosely that I've spent 10/20 hours on just doing sound design with no really creative direction other than making a cool sound that may eventually lead to a small melody or sorts.

TWO DAYS TO GO!! If anyone could share the poster or info around to anyone in the area that'd be awesome heart

I think it's one of those things where if you want one you'll get it regardless of price purely to play your old games or write music in a format that is more suited to modern TV and its graphical capabilities. For me I would love to get one if it was cheaper but then again I think if you want to play your old games on your TV surely a cable to plug your laptop into your TV and running an emulator of your favourite games would be easier?
