I have the Roland Micro Cube which is also excellent, long battery life and good sound!

at this rate will this become the most expensive Gameboy ever sold? I really don't get the appeal. But still... I guess the market is there

Icepick is so good, I'm loving this *Heatshield* heart

def listening to this when im home

PM'd

I doubt it was caused by the cartridge.. its more likely you've got a short circuit or something on the Gameboy itself. Hence the reason it rebooted. Do you normally run it on batteries or from a mains power source?

I've had my gameboy do the weird numbers thing before when someone turned my charger off at the mains with my gameboy still on. I fixed it by going to load a different song and making sure I didnt save it before loading the new one it seemed to revert back to its previous save state and fixed everything try that.

These things happen to people all the time, its old hardware.

this is wicked, good job! Maybe an EP like this? wink

I've applied!

It will be listed again, so on the home page it'll bump your update to the top of the list smile
Just keep updating this one thread! smile

Try it on your mac, run the Terminal commands and see if you can write anything to it or back up a save. If you can back up a sav ot your pc/mac run it in an emulator and see if that's working or if it is also broken. That might at least give you an idea as to whether its a software or hardware problem.

If nothing else works I'd try putting in a new battery.
Just my thoughts I'm not super techy but that's what I would try.

I've got mine in the post!
@egr as far as I'm aware the beta testers have the same model as the customers who ordered one from the first batch. Been in touch with 2xAA but I'll double check today.
