dreamcast is that hot hot. i would suggest typing of the dead if you have a keyboard . also radirgy, skies of arcadia, street fighter 3 third strike are some of my favorites. if you can take it online (easier said than done) phantasy star online is still played by many. oh and do yourself a favor and look for a vga cable online if you dont have one already, it makes a HUGE difference.  theres also a ridiculous homebrew scene for dc. maybe browse through dcisozone.com to get a feel for whats out there. the doom mods alone are fun as shit.

edit: spelling

theres quite a few chip producers that live in that area, buy i dont think they perform regularly. and as far as i know theyre not to active on any sites or anything. theres been cool shows before though. bible belt fest was one i had to watch online cause i live down in corpus.

while the op's title seems a little loaded for a release thread , i can agree that this that hot shit.

maybe they're just bored on the number of threads involving the silliest things about Game Boy here in the forum.

You don't see a "how much time do you spend cleaning your Amiga board?", or "do you take a shit while programming on the zx spectrum sinclair basic?" threads.

i dont disagree. i fully understand and sympathize with them in a way. but come on, how many 17xlsdj and ccmyprosound(dot)org styled jokes are gonna get made by the same group of  people before it gets old. maybe the fact that it annoys me is just a character flaw of mine, but it does.

edit: and 4mat too. do you guys have a club?

eh? because not liking gameboys that much is so unlikely that three people doing it at the same time implies some kind of conspiracy or collaboration?

fwiw that's really where i do keep my gameboy, in a box with other consumer electronics i don't use any more

not really a conspiracy i guess. its just that i expected some witty remarks from you guys about not using gbs before i even opened the thread. its getting pretty predictable. but in retrospect my post had a harsher tone than necessary so i apologize.

featuring yours truly stuck behind the mixer unplugging and frantically plugging back in on several occasions smile oh and that first champagne bottle that went off was an accident and almost gave me a black eye so i wasnt sure what to do and just yelled. but after being close friends with this guy for years and seeing him play more times than i can count this was easily the most fun i ever had during one of his sets and i feel it easily embodies the vibe and energy that weve been lucky enough to experience with him living here. im gonna truly miss the guy. only the most love for iayd.
