This one is a Clip Zip.

So far nothing seems to work (I can tell the reset buttons work while it is connected, because it disconnects, and it reconnects again when I press the power button), but other than that, no sound, no image.

I'd like to get the battery replaced, but I don't know how to disassemble this.

Edit: I also don't like throwing things away. hmm

Okay. I'll try that.

Edit: yeah, still nothing. How long did you have to charge it for? At least now it's recognized every time I connect it.

My brother had a Sansa Clip he used before getting a smartphone. The problem with the Sansa is that it doesn't turn on at all. I tried the 20-seconds hold the two buttons down reset trick. I was able to connect it to Windows 7 and move files onto it, but I have to manually disable/reenable the device to get it to work sometimes.

I like how small this thing is, and I thought it'd be great if it could be modded with something like Rockbox to play NSF, SPC, GBS formats.

But first I'd like to find out why it isn't turning on, and I have no idea how to even open it up. Any suggestions?

To the rest of the band: "You're all fired!"

what do you need an i7 for if you aren't gaming with it? heavy video editing use?

Yes. The reason for the higher-end processor is because I already know I can install more RAM. I could even add another hard drive, but how easily can I upgrade the processor? Do I need to know how to solder?

Hey guys! I'm in the market to buy a PC. This isn't for my personal use; it's for the family.

Specs in mind:
-Processor: atleast Intel core i7 / AMD Threadripper 1900X
-8-16GB RAM
-1 TB SSD
-USB 3.0 ports
-DVD/Blu-ray player

My budget is about $1200-1500. Though I don't plan on doing any PC gaming, I don't know what it may be used for down the line. Plus, I want it to last. I also already have a VGA monitor, keyboard, and speakers. Thanks all!

(okay, I know I'm not talking about old/used PCs)

I think it's much more versatile this way. I can enlarge it or shrink it as much as I want without worrying about legibility.

Plus, the name's kinda already in the logo. Though it won't help with name recognition unless people already knew who I was in the first place. hmm Hmm...

I just made this symbol to use in place of my name on album artwork:

What do you all think?

What is it supposed to be? lol

Has anyone here used these services before? I'm curious.

Ahh, I see. But what if you don't know how much an item's worth and want to see how much someone will offer? And I'd rather not pay eBay fees just to gauge an item's value. I also like selling things within the community. eBay is usually a last resort for me.

Oh yeah, someone posted this on the FamiTracker discord: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0khlzm943p22z … 0.zip?dl=0

Indicate prices on items you are selling.  If you are trying to auction it off put it on ebay and put a link to the sale here.

Why is this a rule? Just curious.

How about some ragtime?

"Public" doesn't seem to be an option. I see "shared" but it requires I put in an email address or name.

Does this work? https://www.dropbox.com/s/4tiighc0kdfkk … 0.zip?dl=0

Why not?
