Anyone got ideas on a really cheap chiptune setup? I already have a couple gameboys and a monotron for filtering but I feel my setup is lacking. Any suggestions? I honestly prefer diy solutions but I know something's you just have to go out and buy stuff. Any  recommendations ?

By top polarization layer do you mean the actual glass on the screen under where the protector would be? The actual polarization film is under the screen and needs to be removed in order to backlight I t anyway. If you can look past a little scratch I would try it and if not it's good practice anyway and you can just take the backlight from that one and move it to a better one later anyway. I would try on one of the least pretty screens just to practice.  smile

Hello, my name is Paden (Pronounced Pay-den), but I go by Payday because that was my childhood nickname and I'm always trying to make money. ummmm I've modded 3 dmg's and broken like 5... Screwed up a couple gb colors and still kinda suck at lsdj. I'm still learning everything, but I'm trying hard and failing harder...     smile
