I never used the win32 build in Vista, but I've used it extensively in XP and 7 and never really had any audio issues. I DID have a weird redraw issue in win7 and marc did a special build to fix it for me here:

!!!!! Thank you (and marc) for this link, it solved my months long problem.  I've gotten piggy to run on every comp BUT my own (windows 7).

a 4 channel simple version of lgpt on ds would be sweet. i am sure people would use it too. it would be like taking the the more powerful lgpt tracker and making it more minimalist like the amiga 500.
i like the idea of amiga 500 in your pocket.
i mean you can do that now and just not use the rest of the channels but if you make everything with 8bit samples and 4 channels and what not that would be awesome....

There was actually a DS build once upon a time. And the DS was sooooo weak, that Marc really only got one channel working. Then he deleted everything so don't bother begging for it because I'm already like 2 years ahead of you on that one wink

Has DS dev come up with anything interesting music wise lately?

Haven't checked it since nitrotracker

nitrotracker and glitchds are pretty much the best sequencers i have found for ds homebrew. both are sample based but i think for straight music writing nitrotracker is king. it does everything in .xm and is great to transfer back and forth between programs. also you cant beat the ease and the power of recording samples on the fly. glitch ds is interesting and really cool to use but the sequencer requires a lot of thought if you want serious control. before i was using piggy i had experimented with those programs. piggy took the cake for me as a mobile sample based music sequencer. the ds just never seemed to get the music apps that it deserved. i guess the korg things are kinda cool but i was never really taken by it.

nitrotracker trax

its all good fun tho.

YES. i will name some of the apps i tried and considere are nice enought to give it a try :X

ProteinDS (gorgull should do a GP2x version!!! sad((( and more stable on DS)
Duckslinger (a tracker)
DSSpeech
DStep V2.0

Kaos-DS (is a pain config this app)
Mario Pain Composer DS

And of course
glitchDS & cellDS
nitrotracker

there are more apps, but some of them are WIPs/not so stable

and, if you own a DSi, you can buy some good apps too tongue

So im really getting the hang of the pig these days, but one question.

On my dingoo i cant find the DLAY command. Is it not there? Also, where do i find the most recent dingoo build?

Hmmm dingoo DLAY SHOULD be there.... I left mine at home so I can't be 100% certain. I'm guessing it won't be available in tables, obviously. You did check in the pattern screen right? I'm guessing you have an old build.

Anyhow, all latest builds, including the dingoo are here:

Feel your pain! I'm saving money to buy a psp though, it's powerful and I need two piggys and lsdj

The Caanoo is more powerful than the PSP, however, the commercial games available for the PSP are cool. I surely do miss my PSP, I will by one back at some point. Also it has a bigger emulator base than the Caanoo, but the Caanoo is starting to gather momentum, it emulates the Amiga almost perfectly, at least, I can use Protracker with it big_smile
