Cool! I want to try that now.

Here's a demo I did today of the backlight cycling through colors. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEp54m25 … bVFxAyWMuc

hey everybody -

today we've had some new styles of DMG screen protectors show up, in silver and gold finishes!

http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/re … nt-screens

also, i'm really proud to announce an artist whose custom console cases will be appearing in the shop, wesleyoung.  his paint jobs are a very nice quality, i've adopted one for myself.  we'll have more cases and full consoles in the shop in the future, here's the first (gameboy color):

lastly here's a custom reverse-painted and stenciled gameboy color case by capcomposer:

thanks man!

using a new artist for us, wesleyoung.  his paintjobs are really nice, big attention to detail.  the silver/blue fade is pretty incredible, i was going to keep it myself but i decided to have him paint one of the new dmg cases for me instead wink

hey everybody -

after a bit of a delay, the 64M flash carts are finally back:

http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/usb-64m-smart-card

mini-B type USB cables are back as well: http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/usb-cable-mini-b

also, we've got a LOT of new custom items in the shop.  rather than list them each here, which would get ridiculous, here's a link to the general category:

http://store.kitsch-bent.com/category/custom

that does it for this newsletter, until next time, keep chipping!

i've thought quite heavily about this, doing the molds for gba parts is a bit bigger deal than a basic dmg or pocket set...  the shoulder buttons would be a better first step just by themselves, i'm glad you brought that up, i was curious if it'd be a worthwhile thing to consider (nice knowing someone thinks like that).

Actually I wasnt talking about custom buttons, but rather the thing where you hack the shoulder buttons so that r trigger is select and left is start so you dont get all crab clawy doing LSDJ. I think it would nicer to have a backlit gba than a adapter on a sp for stuff that needs more gb cpu, like lsdj midi out.
