So I've always wanted to participate in a Free Christmas album, I've got a sheet ton of sheet music (paper puns), and i'm ready to roll it out early.
I was gonna run this by you guys first.

Anything fakebit 8-bit atari piggy genesis you name it if you belong on this site in some way shape or form you can have whatever you want on here! If you do an acoustic guitar singing and it fits with the album well I MEAN WHO'S GONNA STOP YOU MAN. Cus I won't. Basically have fun with it, I will take every submission seriously. This is about the chip community and not chip music! ~thanks for the good idea guys :3
I'm thinking original takes on classic carols/themes/holiday* folk songs and Christmas/Holiday* themed originals.

One track per collaborator! If you feel ever so strongly that you'd like to do multiple songs or if your song is taken and you feel like pulling a few songs around them to do a medley, FEEL FREE. That would show great diversity in chip/chip community stylings and would represent the project well

If you need me to I can but I'm generally going to leave mastering the sound decisions to you, the artist. You can let me know upon submission if youd like me to master, pros would be an attempt at a more even sounding album, cons would be the sound might come out differently. I am going to balance out volume n stuff but all else is what I'm speaking of here.

PM a mediafire or whatever link to your mp3 and I will listen and take note of it as an original submission. It would be really cool to get as many as we can so I don't really think I'll be too limiting, It'll just mainly be so that I can be like "hmmm all this song says is butts can it at least be christmas butts or santa's butts?" basically to sift serious submissions from the silly. Because I know you, you wild internet goers you.

I myself am TERRIBLE at deciding a "genre" so I could have my resident genre wizard place your track or you could give me a 1-3 word "genre" description for your song such as "acoustic and voice", "hard lo-fi", "noise chip" or whatever, so the track list below can represent the diversity I hope to bring in this album.

I say Holiday because like if someone really wants to do some siq Hannukuh songs I'm not going to stop them. Bring on the Kwanzaa too. Cover will be agnostic and title is debatable when we get closer I don't want to be exclusive or anything
Also we can probably keep any CC if needed in thread so there's not an influx of christmas CC on chipmusic idk how annoying that'd get for the forum in general. I figured this was pertinent because I'm encouraging adventuring in music, I even have someone interested wanting to do like some hardcore lo-fi n stuff.
