This is nice stuff. I feel stupid for having to ask this, but what chip are you using on ones like Night Drive and Genocide City? Best of luck finding work, by the way, i know it's not easy.

i'm in Austin during the summers. I'm not sure how to play a show when all my music is the result of hours slaving over a tracker, but i might at least come to such an event. I've never actually met any chip artists.

If i ever need a sticker quote for this album, this'll be it. And yes, i do.

thanks guys; tell me what you think of the quality of the new mixes/additions if you've got the time, I'm just an amateur, after all.

Finally found $5 to spare. Thanks for making music that is good. I enjoy people who can engage their faith intelligently in their art, so thanks for that as well.

Thanks! I'm glad to hear it. Hopefully the new mix is a little more palatable.

I'm liking this. I'd like to support your cause, but it'll have to wait until a silly bank-related issue gets resolved.

A high quality, fully revised, slightly expanded stereo remix of the Hero Core soundtrack, for your listening pleasure.

You can stream it or download it for free in any format (up to and including COMPLETE LOSSLESSNESS) here:
http://brotherandroid.bandcamp.com

Or you can download it for free at 192kbps here.

Don't ask why, ask why not! And if you must ask why, it is because the original mixes were not very good.

Thanks for the link! I'll have to mess around with that program and see if it helps.

Thanks!

This release is proving somewhat more divisive than things I've done in the past, seems like. In retrospect the percussion in a lot of places is not all that good. I'll try harder on that next time, but man, I find it hard to get a decent 8-bit drum sound. Any things I might try?

Thanks, I'm glad you guys enjoy this.

@Stargazer - the equipment is all software. Skale Tracker and various simple waveform generators. And I am at school in Waco (guess where) studying computer science.

An EP about love, math, and the subjunctive mood.

You can download it for free here, or if you'd like to pay a few dollars in exchange for a couple of bonus tracks, higher bit rates, the satisfaction of performing an act of kindness, etc., you should go here instead:

Yeah, you guys should definitely check out the game. The soundtrack is a lot better in context anyway, in my opinion. tongue

I also have the .xm files available on my site. I guess I should update the first post to reflect that.

Glad you enjoyed the music.

Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying it.

Man, I should get on top of making a stereo edition soon.
