Cool. I may have said this already but Love Hz is a great band name.

I'm very happy about this.

shameful.

I can think of a lot of ugly metal boxes I'd rather have for that kind of money...

I don't watch a lot of movies, but my favorites (today, anyway) are The Princess Bride, Time Bandits, Rear Window, Spirited Away, the first two Star Wars films, and Princess Mononoke. I like 2001: A Space Odyssey a lot in concept, but it's a bit of a chore to watch.

Brazil

I really want to see that one.

Every off-brand NES/SNES/Genesis controller I've ever seen is unfathomably ugly. They might be fantastic for all I know but I resist them with a childish prejudice.

I enjoy drone and noise (a couple of my favorite drones: one by Oval and one by Coil) but don't listen to it that often anymore. More often, I listen to stuff that takes those elements and uses them in the service of a more conventional composition.

I'm way into middle-era (early 2000's) Autechre, too, and some experimental music that isn't electronic, particularly some extreme metal stuff.

But "experimental" is not a very useful label, to me. Isn't all decent music rooted in experimentation of some kind? And doesn't all music stop being an experiment at some point if you decide to work on it and polish it and release it? I dunno; I'm sure this isn't the place for this conversation but I feel like the term is somehow a little insulting to everyone inside AND outside the category.

A Bandcamp album's price is independent of the tracks that are on it. Heck, you can sell the individual tracks and make the album free, if you want.

The section starting around 0:40 has really awesome sounds in it.

You have a really good sense of melody and harmony and I like the diversity of styles you play with. I think you've got a lot of potential and a lot of these tunes are really solid; my favorites were "Just Don't Die" (though I wasn't too into the voice samples), "Tuna Sandwich" and the title track.

My main point of criticism is that a lot of the sounds you use are very basic; there's not often a very good sense of expression or lyricism in the instrumentation, if that makes any sense. I think you should mess around with more variation in tempo and dynamics and with using effects like vibrato and portamento.

I have that Yamaha (or one very similar; I forget the exact model) and have been pleased with it.

As someone who deliberates wayyyyyy too long over every decision, I understand your dilemma, but yes, you're overthinking this. I'd suggest buying one of them from somewhere local and trying it out; if you don't like it, you can return it. I find that worrying about stuff like this ultimately just distracts me from the music.

The artwork's excellent. I like the detuned synths and the sinister atmosphere, but some of the sounds, especially the drums, are a bit generic and this detracts from the mood. I look forward to seeing what you'll do in the future because there's a feeling here that's cool and I'd like to see developed.

I enjoyed this. I'd kind of hoped that one weird noisy track you posted here would be on your next release, though - do you have plans for that one?
