I have this same issue using my gameboy Dmg with wave samples. I checked mine and its cpu-03.

My other gameboy had no noise issues as its cpu-08.

Im using 4.7.3 lsdj

thanks for listening! i really love sampled drums and how lsdj makes them sound filthy.

sorry about the crappy filming. its hard to film with one hand and turn on and plug in the dmg!

that's pretty dope i have to admit! curious about those samples, would love to know more info on this.

thanks! alot of my music is sample based! so when i figured you can patch your own samples in lsdj
i was on it.
the limited sample time per bank makes it fun and you gotta be pretty clever on what you want on each kit.
also to make it react quick when you touch the keyboard i set the groove to 1/1

usually i drop the sample i want to delete and then replace it with the new one.
i then save the kit under the same name and then over right the old rom with the
new one rom with the new kit that was modified

this is awesome! now i can sync it to my roland tr-626 and Alesis Hr-16 through the tape sync!

i was hoping i would not have to go the solder the wire route. i remember seeing a old thread on here
where someone actually did that with the gameboy.

i thought there would be a easier way tho.

i guess not

Is there anyone that sells the ribbon cable for the dmg?

Or better yet if someone ever made a replacement front pcb for it?

I have 2 nonworking gameboys both with bad ribbon cables or te pcb in the front does not work. it would be awesome to bring them back to life.

Is There anyway to send the rom out to anyone who wants to test it for bugs or glitches?
That way if people are gonna be dropping money on it there not gonna be getting something that crashes.
