those cases look very nice. I presume to be going skiff or the cheapest possible however, until ive got a little working collection of modules!
I missed out on a korg trident yesterday that would have funded the entire system. Ive been slapping myself since.

if there was any sequencing, it was useless... much more useful just playing notes live on the keyboard (or musical overlay keyboard if you have one). still, cynthcart would be much much better (though ive never used it- im using mssiah primarily)

I want midi in most of all. Even just simple note triggering / note offs would be amazing.
midi CC controll of the play offset / loop offset would be just off the hook.

shirus Phaser is great and very easy to use, which is more than I can say for the others Ive tried! Get some nice tones outside the usual 1-bit sphere from the Phase parameter too.
Id love to get into ZX soundtracker though. mmmmmm

Re: where to start building a modular? (solved) (13 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
Im set on the idea. Using mutable instrments Frames module as some kind of unholy brain.
Hopefully I can build a functional little system for about £600-700 to begin with ( Modular sampler )
My shopping list amounts to about £1300 so far though, and it's only going to get bigger. May have to look into building my own to reduce costs!
