not to be a dick, but why did you post this? its an official nintendo product that id imagine many other people in the scene have small piles of laying around like i do, so not exactly new info by any means

by the way: why would you want to use an oversized, heavy battery pack that supplies less than 1/3rd the battery life that a DMG can get off of 4 AA batteries?

I differ. I've never seen or heard of anyone scoring one of these mint in the box.
I have one but definitely not like that. Props on the metroid poster... So jealous! Nice find man... Hope it wasn't a fortune.

Edit: oh and I use this to supply power to the dmg while I'm adding a backlight or something. Its actually very convenient. I just leave it plugged into the wall though.

Its pretty hilarious. Upper playground has some heavyweights. My favorite being Jeremy Fish, by far. He keeps my interest cause he consistently ups the game, while staying true to his style and keeping things interesting. JF ftw.

I used to like him a lot but lately I feel that his stuff has gotten a bit repetitive. He's still bad ass though. Did you guys watch the video with Shia LaBeouf and Alex Pardee?

*Sigh. I wanted to drop this but I feel compelled to drive my point.

To give someone advice on what to do with their tattoos when they a. dislike them and b. don't have any, is silly. Why on earth would I ever tell you how to swing a golf club if I dislike golf and have never held a golf club? Am I really the only one who understands this? Seriously, its not that hard.

Tattooing is a crazy huge world, and if anyone had the incentive to pull their heads out of their rear for half a moment, they would realize that tattooing can be a deeply fascinating and incredible subject. Godinpants made a pretentious post, and I called him out less than gracefully, for which I apologized.

The moral of my story is that tattoos are meant to reflect important aspects of your life, however trivial or silly they may seem to others. Just do what you like.

Done. Swear.

i got an original gameboy in the box with all the manuals, a fold out poster, and an AC adapter for 25 bucks at the local video game store.

Damn, that's a deal... Was the clerk a schizophrenic? I thought I made out like a bandit with a dmg in the box w/ all its stuff for $25 on craigslist.

Here's an ebay search for  gameboys under 20. If that's too much there's probably folks around here who will sell one for less.

Heres some photos of mine if you'd like to see. No pictures of my right leg or arm... which have my best ones.

Keroppi is probably my favorite.

Oh my, what a heated discussion hah.
It dawned on me that It shouldn't matter if anyone likes my tattoo if I get one so long as I like it. I mean I have to live with it.
So yeah, thanks for the thoughts shared, but ultimately this was irrelavent because I'm gonna do what I want anyway.
smile

That was my point from the start. Success.

Sorry for heating up your thread. smile

I use the DAportfolio as my site too! Great artwork btw. Best of luck finding work.

2. I was ignorant to the fact that my post was totally inappropriate. Seriously guys I feel like enough of an idiot already.

Yeah, but E* asked, and I have no other means of communicating with E*. It may seem brazen to you but I see little difference between that and anything else 8bc related.

It's very true that for every good tattoo, there are about a million shitty ones that make me wanna say "fuck you" to those cunts also. I try my best to not focus on them and to focus on the ones who are serious about tattoos.

I didn't claim godinpants was jealous, I said his post sounded like it. Don't take it so literally. I have a problem when anyone shit talks tattooing when they clearly and admittedly have no knowledge on the topic, that's all. Tattooing is very subjective, some think its getting worse, others better. Either way, its an art as old as humans and a little appreciation would really make my day.

I do apologize for lashing out.

Man, when i see all these cunts about covered in tattoos i just think "fuck you", especially when its 10 year olds with full sleeves (obviously not 10 year olds, but they look about that old)
It's like they went out one day and decided to get half their body covered at once. i always assumed that kind of shit was something you added to over the years.
the only thing worse is those guys with a name on their back or chest

i know a guy with johnny cash on his forearm and it looks terrible.

i dont know why, but i dont like tattoos, maybe its because they seem almost a requirement now amongst all the hipster scum and cool kids about. when i go out it seems like i'm the only one without something printed on me.

tl:dr
pixel tattoos: do not
video game tattoos: do not
that pixelly beach thing posted before: definitely do not.
guns'n'roses tattoos: go ahead.
the name of your friend who died: why?
anything for novelty purposes: it will be less fun in a week.

My old roomate literally covered his entire body within two years in meaningless tattoos. We don't talk much anymore.

Also, excuse me, but who the fuck do you think you are to be telling people what to do with their tattoos. Your post reaks of jealousy, even if you're not, you sound like it.

I think its a good thing that tattoo art is taking off. Some amazing artists out there. Just cause you don't understand something doesn't mean you have to shit on it. Tattooing is a way of life for many, so think twice before writing douchy-ass posts about shit you don't know anything about.

Sorry for the mean post, but tattooing is very dear to my heart and it really pisses me off to hear shit like this.

Seriously though, it'd be cool to have some sort of radio for the music. Kind of like pandora or last.fm but I have no idea what kind of coding that entails so pardon my ignorance

chipmusic.org is a host of things and feat req. board for 8bc is not one of them.  Please don't do this. I think we've been gracious enough leaving this thread open for our latch-key kid brother site, but this is just a bit over the line. Thanks.

I apologize. I did not realize there were different levels of kosher for discussing 8bc on chipmusic. If this is over the line, this entire thread should be closed then. I will make no further mention of 8bc on chipmusic ever again. smile
