I played my very first set yesterday at a retroparty in Erfurt! smile
I'm using a gbc with nanoloop 1.7.6 synced to a gba sp with nanoloop 2.7.9 and most of it is improvised

Pure dopeness

I like any chip music that does a good job evoking moods and feelings, really. Creative sound design is always a plus.

Many chipmusician's styles of composition do not always cleanly fit into the labels of "regular" genres of music. It's just... them. I'm not sure if I'm expressing that right.

This.
I don't have a favorite genre at all, what's important to me is wether the music is able to entertain, deliver a Strong atmosphere/Feelings or if it's simply unique in a certain Way. Besides that, I tend to enjoy progressive music the most, because it's most likely to be unpredictable.

So this happened:
I already had 1 instrument for a song in the VRC6 and did another one for arps.
I then realised that the arpeggios in the instrument settings of the first VRC6 instrument also got activated.
However, I could return the settings in the first instruments, so that there would be no arps.
But everytime I edited the second instrument it also affected the first one (the changes were somehow "transmitted" i guess one could say)

Has anyone experienced something like this before?

is it possible to drag LSDJ on those carts?
sorry if the question seems noobish, i don't have any experience with this stuff

Strobe and Ampli "Chipset Sunset"

This is also one of the first chiptunes I ever heard. It was in a compilation video of chiptunes in which each track's details (module type, channel number, size in kb) was listed. I thought ".XM" was some bizarre chipmusic programming language or something... this is when I was mystified by the whole process of making this music.

The track is pretty nice, I really like its melody smile

"I will try to upload one track a week."
Imo you should reconsider this. Writing a song can sometimes take months maybe even over a year, so don't put yourself under pressure smile
However, if you've already written a lot of songs which are ready to upload then fucking go for it tongue

Oh, and would you tell us which programs were used to create this song? smile

Cheers.

thank you smile

I'm glad there's some good nanoloop tech stuff coming out lately

SAME!
really been getting into this kind of deepish nanoloop techno over the last time and artists like pulselooper, wantz and also your release under the 0F.digital alias had major influence on this right here smile

there's some overdrive in the mid part
