My new album Diurnal Course is out now for pay what you want on bandcamp.
It features 7 tracks, representing different stages of a day.
There's also a remix by 4Dboy and there might be some more remixes in the future, so watch out
:-)

Would love some CC on this, especially on the first 5 tracks, since they're my first results of working with FamiTracker.

Cheers!

Basically anything by Malmen will be joyful stuff, and incredibly well tracked as well. https://soundcloud.com/malmen

I really enjoy chiptune music when it represents feelings like joy and happiness.

Do you guys can recommend an artist/a group that goes into this direction? (besides the obvious stuff like anamanaguchi, rymdcraft, roccow...)

Some songs that I put into this category are:

Disasterpeace - Win
chibi-tech - Love Is Insecurable
Henry Homesweet - Simple Pleasures, Summer Smiles
Anamanaguchi - Endless Fantasy, Meow (well, actually nearly every song of them lol)

just to name a few

Hope you can show me some super duper uber hyper happy chip stuff : >
peace guys smile

Hi, I just receive my GB BOY COLOUR. I have nanoloop 1... but it seems to don't work with it. It stay fixed on GB BOY start screen...

Someone succed to launch nanoloop on it?

Nanoloop 1.7 works fine on my Game Boy Colour, so it has to be something wrong with nanoloop i guess.
Try the typical dust blowing it might help big_smile

Henry Homesweet for sure.
He was the reason I started producing chipmusic on my own (especially his song "Until I Sleep").
Every of his EP's has its very own unique sound and he is just so incredibly talented at what he's doing, no matter which device he uses.
He's also the kindest being I ever had the honor to meet and his live sets are far beyond mind-blowing!

Artists from Asia I know are:
Doomcloud, chibi-tech, NNNNNNNNNN, Toriena, Omodaka, YMCK, Kplekraft, USK, Cheapshot (Japan)
Sulumi (China)

well that's it big_smile

YMCK also happen to have created a super sweet 8-Bit VST known as the magical8bitplug.
Other than that, and the Square Sound Festival in Tokyo, I know pretty much nothing about the asian Chiptune scene hmm

Hope I could help smile

Just finished the first track and I'm already in love with this release. I really like the noisy character it has, the drums and the dark atmosphere.

8-Bit RAMPAGE YO!

May I ask where u got the cartridge shell for nanoloop 1.X from?

There's a new blog by electrodolly, who happens to be quite new to the Chiptune scene.

This blog will grow in the future so you might list it up as well smile

This was great to listen to, a very diverse 8 Bit adventure smile big_smile
