Just got myself inside gadgets flasher, seems to support 32k catskull cart. As does Joey, as i wrote support for it with help from bennvenn 
Inside gadgets flasher should work on OSX and Linux too, but seems that GUI is only done for Windows.
To make the serial chip they've chosen to work on OSX, you need to replace USB kext for another one. Something i'm not willing to do on my work machine.

Problem is that you cant sync LSDj to two different sync methods at same time. I'm currently toying around synccross v2 which would convert LSDj sync to analog sync on the fly. Still no idea will it work and if it will when i have it done as an physical adapter.

I work in the game industry world as audio programmer, mostly doing Android. Building synths as a hobby, having two kids and too long commute time (Which makes some good LSDj time).

It's meant for Color cables, you can physically fit DMG cable there too though. It just gets quite crowded with neighboring cables pretty fast.
Seems that aftemarket cables differ quite a lot from each other.
I tested about 5 different aftermarket ones. One was very loose on it, but it was also same in real Color.
Can you PM me a pic from the cable of yours? Want to track one down for testing.

What cables are you using? You mean neighboring cables are colliding or your cable physically does not fit?
Had issues with some ebay knock off cables, but they were just too loose. But they are too loose on real Color too.
