Thanks everyone! Glad you enjoyed it.
I tried to take every aspect of the last release and kick it into high gear

The Whole EP is LSDJ.

Yeah, my fault, that's what I thought at first listen, then I took a look to the album description. My fault xD

Listened to it

Im gonna be honest, I like the vocals and the songs, but it certainly isnt my cup of tea for two sound reasons : lsdj drums are really annoying for blastbeats (been there myself) , and the bass channel is not as explosive as I like it. Ironically, I think this record would be INCREDIBLE live and Im looking forward to see videos or something.

What he said---^

Now it kicks butts, but with better mixing, it would kick ass!

Mai em cansaré d'escoltar la música de Ralp!!

I'm going to start this post saying that I'm not a big fan of Black metal, but I'd rather prefere Death metal anyways. That's in the case my appreciation of the release is not the correct one.

I liked the whole release, even if black metal is not my jar of beer, I liked how well 1bit b&w cover meshed with black metal image/corpse paint.

I think that the big flaw of this release is the mixing between channels and voice, and the lack of mastering some times, because it gets a little bit louder than the rest of the track when the voice comes in and lower when it goes. Also the drums (specially when the blastbeats comes in) are over the top and drowns the rest of the instrumentation (bass/guitar lines).

I really liked the digital distortion/bitcrusher used in the voice production, is the perfect marriage between old school gloomy lofi black metal records and chipmusic/lofi.

Keep it going you got something there smile

Deflemask tune (Lab Hours) starts at 11:30. Three other lsdj tunes are also presented.

Man, this is RAAAAAAAAAAAAD!

What system did you use? Genesis I guess, but there's another fm synthesis chip in defle.

Delek, what about the live mode? I mean, this guys just shown how defle can be used live, but you asked in CC forums about suggestions for live Deflemask action, still this in your mind? big_smile

Larga vida a Deflemask smile

HEXAWE012_DUET_by_BLEO

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, MAY I PRESENT TO YOU THE FIRST NON-COMPO HEXAWE ALBUM

Four times in the past few years I found myself finishing a pretty hot collaboration track and asking my collaborator "OK, what do we do with this now?" After that fourth time, I finally saw the pattern and thought the idea of a duets album a la Sinatra and the like would be as awesome as it was hilarious, especially with the 4 heavyweights I was fortunate enough to work with... over the internet.

Nobody should be put throught this, as others said, is amazing how positive are you in front of a situation that would scare anyone. Take care bro, all my blessings for you smile

Btw, have you thought about releasing something with donatives? If something I think that the chipmusic community has is that is a tight scene on some points, and some people would help with a small donation. Let us know =]

I'm up for an interview, I released a single through hexawe recently and I run with a few friends CulturaChip's community, so I guess I got stuff to talk about big_smile

You're wellcome. Anyways, follow your own instincts, maybe we said that because we've been expecting other thing instead, if something you make don't fit other people expectations, that doesn't mean it's bad.

Can I ask you to get a little bit of CC in my track? http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/11002 … y-pakzer0/

I love the way you use vocals, trippy lyrics over dreamy yet abrassive background. Filter effects are really cool too.

Good work smile
