some rad segajams mate!  curious as to roughly how much was sample work and how much was FM.  always hard to tell with these kinds of tunes in case there was some extra sound design wizardry going on that might have been overlooked.

but seriously if chip music is less a genre but more of a methodology and philosophy, as our greatest minds have suggested, should we really be surprised that it hasn't achieved any larger a share of today's music than a guitar does?  it really is just another thing in a composer's arsenal now, for better and/or worse.  i'd hate to see chiptune dominate the airwaves.

it's a thing

sunvox is definitely one of those unsung heroes in terms of mobile trackers.  i highly recommend taking part in this compo, even as an excuse to try it out.

ultra smooth jams through and through!  dat cover tho, especially.

we're talking billions.

on a related note, the Nigerian chiptuners still want to know why you haven't paid them yet for you to go play at their show.

definitely one of the more oldschool lineups!  which is exactly why i'm flying my ass there.  SEE YOU THERE MOFOS

heck yes.  dat solo in precious jewel, it's like some forlorn ninja gaiden II cinematic score wizardry right there.

heard some bits and pieces of these live and i'm glad they're seeing a legit release.

very smooth and unique blend of.. uh spacechrap!  it's as if infinity shred and noisewaves had a baby and that baby threw away all both bands' acoustic instruments and bought a tr808.  real nice to have this one playing in the background.
