I'm having some problems with the FM strip.

None of the OP panels show any dials, and clicking on the tabs more than a couple of times immediately crashes Live. hmm

I kinda figured as much, but I'm just hoping that won't cause any problems.

Of course it's all moot unless I actually get adlib working at some point. big_smile

Ah, thanks O2star. Should of refreshed before I posted that.

So, do you think my Portman PC/S  will work out here?

And yes... open source... the new-found possibilities!!

I know practically nothing about these things but the MPU-401 seems to be a bit of a complicated issue, it appears to be included as a gameport, actually build on to some opl3 cards, which would indicate that it won't be on a lot of laptops (I assume). Also it seems to of been it's own interface card/box and a lot of variants and compatible products were about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPU-401

And a quick search through a Libretto maintenance manual turned up this:

Libretto 50-70 Maint Manual wrote:

Wondering how that works exactly, considering the Libretto port replicator lacks the 15-pin gameport... hmm

Necrobump, because Adlib Tracker II got open sourced, and now has some form of MIDI support.
I haven't been able to figure out if there's sync or it just responds to notes...

Hadn't notice anyone talking about it on here yet, so I thought it might be worth a mention.

Now I really must get it working on my Librettos.

Count how many of the items in CDK's collection you own, and post the number here.

I'll go first.

4.

37, I think.

Hello people-I-should-probably-know-better.

Oi... Northern Ireland you say?!

'Sup? Nice track by the way.

There's never been much of a community here really...

Currently I think there's some guy called Casion, that I've never even met somehow, Secret Teeth who does some chippy breakcore on occasion, and me, and I don't do much really.
Chipzel and Skip Cloud are away at university in England...

There's still Gamepak in Dublin, but they seem to be running more irregularly these days an focusing less on chipmusic than before (Psilodump played recently and I missed it though).

I've previously made some ill-fated attempts at putting on some shows (not all chip) including Goto80, and got somewhat discouraged.

We've recently set up a hackerspace/makerspace in Belfast (Farset Labs) and I'm going to be co-running a monthly 'Music Mondays' event focusing on some of the nerdier elements of music technology. So I'll be using that to help educate some people in the ways of chip (Also, free event space, time to get off my ass and do something again).

Been in town since Tuesday, wish I'd checked the forums earlier...

I'm sticking around 'til June 3rd and not sure what to do with my non-blip time, so I'm up for whatever.

Yup, there's me and a few others that don't really frequent this site. Where are you going to be staying and when?

There's myself in Belfast, and Casion too. (who I've never met, ohhh mysterious.) And a couple more who're away at university in England now.

There's KaraKara in Dublin along with the Gamepak Crew who put on the occasional chip night, I used to VJ for them on occasion.
