I did. It's super easy. But getting into the SX-64 is not a task for the faint of heart.
You just need to tap into the cable of the in-built speaker. You can either keep the speaker or cancel it and just put an audio jack.
SX-64's are made of metal so the only place you can make a hole for such a mod is on the top plastic part.
I will just remind you that ding this will destroy the collector's value of the machine, so if you wanna sell it later, it will be worth a lot less. To be honest there's no advantage to having an SX-64 over a breadbin setup.
if i dont put them online theyll just collect dust in the music folder
PLease let them grow mushrooms in there.
Another random video
That's the worse time to choose to have a Game Boy crash xD
Awesome show people. Fucking nuts crowd pull.
I love deadbeatblast!
What the hell, this is sickness!
Somebody deal with the troll, please.
I have an old CRT TV but it still is hard to tune many devices, specially my Intellivision and Atari 2600. My parents very, very old TV in storage does the trick though.
Don't discard an RF Modulator fail, though. Many times those things just go to silicon heaven.
"Steal Lo-Bat tunes and talk shit about the chiptune scene"
i feel as though that was a shot at me. am i wrong?
Oh really? I didn;t know you were Crystal Castles.
You probably have to fuck around a lot with the tuning.
If you are trying this on a new TV, good luck, you may never be able to tune in to the computer. I recommend old, analog tuning TVs.
Steal Lo-Bat tunes and talk shit about the chiptune scene.
The Blizzards are popular and cool but very expensive.
I have a Microbotics XA1230, which is very sturdy and almost as cool as a Blizzard, but goes for much less.
My 030 is clocked at 50Mhz which is the top in most of these cards.
To be honest I never really pushed it except for demo watching.
The accelerator makes things go fast
That 1220 is a piece of shit. You already have an 020 in the 1200, it just doesn't have an MMU and it goes half as fast. Hardly an improvement.
If you want an accelerator for mild use, a 030 is what is most recommended. but they are going for a lot of money nowadays.
Hively Tracker will set you back an 060@100 which can cost anything from 5 to 6 hundred euros.
It will make your whole experience a lot faster and smoother but also may bring incompatibilities, depending on the software you want to run. I can't live without my accelerator, then again, I am an Amiga power user, for 17 years now.
I'd say only get one once you are swimming like a fish in water with the Amiga system.
And if you want options, here's a list of all available accelerators for the A1200:

Suggestion: those in teh market for an accelerator should wait until late December/early 2011, because new ones are coming which will be very cool.
Fuck it, I'm going into Coke Rap.
akira, cheers! although "Clark O." is not really dnb, or..?
Sort of like the half-step stuff that some artists used to make.
Well, to me at least xD
The vast majority of music is generic and dull, no matter what the genre. What is it with singling out and attacking dubstep all the time?
Ask your fellow countrymen, it's the UK who did this with dnb and then dubstep xD
Hi man.
This link might help:

This guy swapped out the audio caps. you can look at the position where they are (near the audio ports). He also mentions something about non-polarized caps.
Hope it helps.
