Hip Tanaka's visualist.
First post updated with ROM flyer also.
Cool! It wasn't on the website so I was very confused.

I need to ask this again because I don't think it was answered: will there be an online stream of the shows?
That flyer mentions NO FUTURE as an artist. Who is that? o_O

Embarrassed for akira, maybe.
Why should I be embarrassed for saying that this was hardly a tutorial as the thread title implies? That what was included in this video was not a "HOW TO MAKE" as the thread title suggests?
As far as I know and, feel free to point out if I am being obtuse, the person in the video does NOT explain anything, he's just doing what he's doing. Even if the case was given that I don't know what he is doing (which I do, and yes, you UNDER estimated me, and I talk about me since you keep referring to me so much), he doesn't explain it, so, how is this a HOW TO ?
Read my message again: it says "this and that, therefore THE THREAD TITLE IS MISLEADING"
If you, however, would say in the title "INTERESTING WAY TO USE DS-10" and then EXPLAIN "this is an interesting way to perform, the guy does this and that and I thought it was cool", I guess this would have been a much better thread. And I won't even delve into the drama you created and how you "demonized" me, because saying i am a dipshit is a fad that has passed. You are not being cool doing it, sorry.
I do not feel elitist or superior, I actually entered this thread because I have DS-10 and I find it hard to do some things with it past the point of boredom, and was expecting some tips, some tutorial, some process dissection that I could learn from and improve my knowledge. That's hardly a "I know it all" attitude.
Why do I even bother, with the tons of things I have to do? Oh, motherfucking internet.
Uh, I guess I overestimated you guys.
You mean underestimated.
Pattern triggering and channel muting or solo'ing is HARDLY a daunting task for anyone with half a hint on live performance.
The point of this is to demonstrate the use of pattern mode, to trigger patterns live and mute individual tracks, rather than depending on song mode
Which anyone would use , as I said, if you have half a hint of idea for live performances.
This is hardly complex nor eye-opening.
so you can see how it's done.
You can only see how he plays pattern after a pattern (hardly a daunting task for anyone who has DS-10), not how the actual music is created, so this thread's title is very misleading.
MACHINEDRUM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I use my Asus with an external, low latency, GOOD card. So my performance issue is CPU related, not audio hardware related and it seems to have to do with the machine switching CPU speeds even if I told it not to.
Try to download the LATEST power management drivers, make sure your Atom is maxed at 1.60Ghz solid, and not variable.
