The firmware issue is no problem,if I modded mine (AND Natty's) ANY jerk can do it.
However,MIDI is a good point.

Oh, I'm also going to have a command in the Song Master Track too, you'll then have the flexibility of setting the speed table index either in a Pattern on in the Song.

There's something in AHX I really love and helps you save memory, and maybe you want to implement: when you arrange your song, you can TRANSPOSE the pattern you arrange there with a command. Like this:

010 0F0
(pattern number, then transpose byte)

That's because AHX doesn't use "chains" like LSDJ, but LSDJ is not your conventional tracker smile

I guess it makes no sense to get one of these when for 20 more you get a PSP that also runs LGPT.
This is better aimed at a collector.
Where's the collectors when you need them? tongue

I hate Midiman/M-Audio anything. They are not durable, and they feel like toys.
For the same price you can possibly get an Edirol PCR-30 (first gen), which is a lot better and I surely have thrashed it and the thing survived.

I forgot to say that you can get some "extra" resolution from the frame counter method by specifying a loop between two values in the speed table;

00:03 01        ;speed 3, jump to step 1
01:04 00        ;speed 4, jump to step 0

That's like issuing F commands on Protracker (and others) on every step, like

--F03
--F04
--F03
--F04

and so on... right? Only on a table (convenient)
It's kind of a standard and I like it. I love the idea that it can be put in a table instead of using the Effect column of a channel.

What a fucking emo, this Bit Shifter

Totally valid, but for example goto80 makes like twelve good tunes before breakfast.

But he doesn't release them xD
We're talking about a prodigy there, too, so no comparison. I am crap, he is a genius.

I never used this one to be honest.
I get my music from http://beatport.com/ and http://www.digital-tunes.net/ usually, but then again that's all for spinning.
Oh, I also love http://bleep.com/

Natami is tremendously vapourware. It will never happen I think.
The whole "project" is shrouded by lies and inconsistencies and fortunately no new "announcements" have been made for ages.

I recommend on this turn a very unknown and never apreciated enough Amiga MOD artist from back then, his handle is "NON PLUS ULTRA"

81 tracks of him in MP3 format at SOAMC (I recommend downloading the MIX version for better stereo sepparation instead of crappy Amiga hard panning)
Those who want stuff in original format, 75 MOD archives from him

The guy probably never got much love because he wasn't into the melodic, regular time signature garbage taht everyone wanted to make. He is the Amiga's Ed

Thse are not unknown at all. And all the others you posted after, forsterer.
Try to keep the focus of the thread so we can discover brilliant NEW stuff.

I should recommend Cerebral Scars too though, he doesn't seem to be flashed around much and I like his stuff.

You made a good point about the topic title itself so I changed its title, thanks.
