It doesn't have a synth chip. It's a 6 channel, 5 bit sample thing. So you can "emulate it" with any DAW.

Even if you had OS9, the amount of stuff available for it that is truly useful is minimal. VSTs still won't work tongue
OS9 is a very unstable, inconvenient operating system.

I had a G3 with OSX Panther until last year and it run beautifully. Mind you, that G3 was 700Mhz (an iBook), so Panther might be a bit sluggish on yours but you can at least try Jaguar. Depends on what you want to do with it. How does Tiger run in it? I didn't even know it could run on a G3.

Why would you put OS9? It's a horrible system and very useless.
The Powermac G3 Blue & White is a nice machine, probably my favorite Powermac ever. It's great if you have a Protools card, for use with Protools.

Tiger seems overkill, I would downgrade to Panther and then install Goat Tracker, Fast Tracker 2... there's a bunch of stuff...
450Mhz won't let you go too far with VSTs and the like, specially on OSX, but everything else should run OK.
And I think you can have classic on Panther and ruin OS9 games if you are so inclined. you will need OS9 though.

I sent you a message about that PSOne screen!

These two same questions.

Yeah I want one too... Nobody out there planning to build any?

Heroes :3 i suck doing minimal fonts xDD

Your mistake is trying to stick to doing a capital R where it doens't fit. If you instead make a lowercase R it would fit fine. Try that technique with complicated letters.

That's a scan converter, an upscaler to be precise. It is for making the 15Khz RGB signal work on a VGA monitor that needs a ~30Khz signal.
Kodek's monitor receives a 15Khz signal, but his Atari ST is sending a 30Khz signal (High Res mode is at 30Khz if I don't remember wrong).

As I said before, the route to get a composite signal out of an ST is usually complicated and I don't know how possible. I'll let an Atari ST connoisseur speak.

PS: check here: http://info-coach.fr/atari/hardware/interfaces.php

I know what monitor it is, I mean, YOUR cabling or YOUR atari is outputting a horizontal scan frequency higher than 15Khz, this is why it looks like that, because that monitor will NOT accept that.

That's noticeably a sync problem. Your atari is not sending a 15Khz signal to the monitor.
Have you wired it properly? is TOS set to High Res?

Convoluted in which sense? Looks like a normal tracker to me and it comes with a manual.

The default output of nlcontrol is this:

nlcontrol: nlcontrol [OPTIONS] [reconfigure | status | verify | change-password]

-help (show help on all flags [tip: all flags can have two dashes])
      type: bool default: false

-domain (domain name) type: string default: ""
-server (server name) type: string default: ""

So it seems this domain thing is present anyway, not just in the error. I mean, I don't think it has to do with the way I invoked the command. It just seems like a serious bug, maybe to do with Lion incompatibility, but how could I know? tongue
