I think the main problem with this script is that people will now use it for the wrong reasons. ant1 made it because of rightfully obnoxious posts, not because he disagreed with people.

Using a script like this on a forum is like using speedhax during a time attack. It just defeats the purpose of a forum imo.

chicken burger sub forum based on how many songs you've uploaded, if you've commented on more than 10 songs then it will show up in your feed (to keep noobs out??? obviously) HOWEVER if you've made over 200 posts in a week then the sub forum won't appear and in order for it to appear you have to pm nitro2k1 and minusbaby and celcius saying what you fave band is, if it's not up to scratch it won't appear in you recent posts ever again BUT if you upload a song and get at exactly 4 comments you unlock speacli code to view the forum and it will be in text format, you have to download and veiw in wrdpad

You know, a lot of forums have trolls and stuff. Look at your reply on that post "8-Bit-Rex", why are you re-directing him to UC.O? Are you better than the people there? You shouldn't take it out on a small community (if you could call it that). What you should do is ignore it.

Popularity contests are awesome in my opinion, gets people really working rather than just releasing the same LSDJ album every half a year. Also when the focus is purely on music is drapes in people from all over the scene, not just people that go to chip shows.

That would just make it the same as this site though, why would anyone want 2 news oriented chipmusic sites.

It's the line between chipmusic and 8bc that made them so different.

In fact being led to a forum section makes it less inviting imo. Specially if the forum is blank half the time. Being shown a music page just shows that anyone can post. It's way more inviting, it's more lively.

2 things that hold UC back.

-It's not unique. People aren't excited. People are already situated here. The website needs sharing about, possibly the best thing you could do to help it grow.

-A lot of people hold a false grudge against 8bc and UC is in many ways similar to that site.

The main attraction of UC is that people WILL get their music heard. (Granted that the user base grows) I think that this feature of the site should be boasted.
