That was a pretty fun show. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay the whole night, but from what I saw, it was pretty badass. Also, the pizza was delicious.

I guess you gotta make them dance extra hard to warm up. Thats pretty freaking cold.

Magical 8bit Plug; simple, effective and free.

This is as simple as it gets.

I also recommend the aforementioned programs such as Renoise and Reason, although I've never tried making chipmusic on Reason yet.

SeizureTracker

The colors on the screen must change everytime a note is played.

Well, I used to be part of this so-called silent population before I actually tried to make music. Its fairly large, but its mostly people from other 'scenes'. My friends and I listened to, for a lack of a better term, hardcore/rock music and electronic/idm. So, we always supported bands and artists that we enjoy, but just never got involved with the scene.

I just decided to take the dive and try to break into this scene, but its harder than expected when the LA scene is pretty small when it comes to shows.

Long story short - If you love your music, and you love making it, then you are doing it right.

I have to admit, this is the best advice. Always try and remember why you got into making music and who were your inspirations. Songs will finish themselves.

Alright, guess I gotta get to work!
