With nanoloop for iPhone, you can send your saved projects to other nanoloop users via e-mail. If nanoloop is installed on the recipient's iPhone / iPod, she/he can simply tap on the file name in the received e-mail to start nanoloop and import the attached file so that it is available for editing.

Agreed, FM mode with the filter thinger in the lower left is very very low.
Well, gabber kicks they may be, but they are so weak. I just find 2.3 to have lesser capabilities for bass compared to 1.5, just my opinion.
Please bear in mind those are tracks recorded with literally no balancing or EQ or mixing or anything at all, from a GB micro (which doesnt sound great) into my mixer at whatever setting its on.
Out of curiosity. anyone know what the lowest note is on NL1.x vs 2.3? LSDJ is C3, im guessing 1.5 is the same? I would hazard NL2.3 goes down to c-2?

Agreed, Gabber kicks are easy, move the filter all the way to the top left with the normal filter (the not hi pass one) and use a pitch enveloped C at the lowest or second lowest octave

Acctually, one other thing, I have noticed the noise channel on 2.3 seems to be alot quieter than in 1.5 compared to other channels, is it just me?
Also if you are curious, I did a little video syncing NL2.3 to a bunch of things, 1.5/LSDJ/Nanovoice.

My advice to you, Go the the Blip festival, assuming you can manage to avoid getting sack tapped by any crazy Australians, you will be amazed at how much love and respect can be concentrated in one room. Also, by my count, the chip music scene has donated close on 20,000 USD to the chip scene in the last 6 months?

This might sound kind of stupid but I wrote a few words about the 09 Blip Festival and one thing which I found incredibly difficult was commenting on the visual side of things. I really feel like visualists are a pretty integral part of Blip Festival and pretty much any chip show. Unfortunately though I really was a bit of a loss when talking about visual side of things. I don't know if its lack of practice or I am more of an audio person than a visual one. I felt I kept on saying "visualist X's style really complimented artist Y's set well" and "visualist X's style is glitch and colorful" or "glitchy and monochrome"
Any advise or thoughts from the visualists in the house? Also, any well written articles reviewing chip shows which speak well about the visuals?
I have an Epson EMP-TW20 which I really really like, but I am far from a visual expert, works just fine for movies and stuff. If you are buying second hand I would check the number of lamp hours left and also how much replacements are likely to cost you.
Really rather interested in it. The CZ style filter looks loads of fun.
