I'm totally blanking on the name of the artist, and I'm not o. A google friendly device but search for "art of the theremin" also I thinnk ligetti did some early electonic stuff?

I think some of us are a little older? Im in my 30s, so my "set up" of a little casio synth, a couple of cheap mixers, 2 guitar pedals, a mini kp and a little box of handhelds probably cost me about 1000 bucks at the outside over about 5 years?

I also absolutely adore this. I was just wondering, is it the full set? There is a little jump early on and I wondered if the audio dropped out for a little bit?

I absolutely love this Release. Thanks for making it available. Is there a full version of the untitled track available anywhere?

Sounds awesome, I think its a good compromise, I shall be on board once its available. Thanks again for doing it!

This is really exciting, Will it be a chip based emulator of the YM2149 in the same way the A_Sid emulates the sid? So we can look up the registers on the Datasheet and code it in processing?

Strongly recommend this, one of my favorite sets of the festival.

Thanks very much for this, most interested, Im actually on my way out to buy a little box for my A_SID. It unfortunately got a bit mooshed in transit so I thought I would rebuild it properly.

Im still trying to work up the whatever to actually play live, the notion absolutely horrifies me. I have no idea how so many of you do it.

I'd love to try to decipher MDX documents, though. I wonder what the X68000s go for in Japan.

x68000s have become something of a collectors item in Japan, the vintage computerstores have been picked over many times. I have only ever seen one I a store once and it wasn't on sale, just a display model. They are also pretty heavy so shipping one may well be almost as much as the machine if not more. I think they were pretty much the machines to have for arcade ports, capcom used them as dev machines I think? And as alex mentioned, the chip is very very similar to the fb01.

g0org.biz has alot of interesting x68k stuff if you dig around a bit, it's a Japanese site but the music isneady to find

First thanks most kindly, I really like this,

Potential bug - Win 7/FF 3.5.7

When selecting a filter from the drop down menus, clicking "none" causes firefox to jump to the top of the page (if scrolled down), where as clicking any other option will reload the page in place.

Actually, one quick point, did any heroic soul archive Albino Ghost Monkeys tunes? If so I would love a PM.

Unless its the traditional "minusbaby wierds up the blipfestival thread", how about a moratorium on image macros please? Im sure you can all google up 4chan.

Are studio versions of the tracks likely to appear? I am really curious how different they sound to the live versions.
