Yeah, that's a great idea. I'm serious. My hat is off to you. Pshhh.

TouchOsc sends OSC signals to your computer. PD or Max can then manipulate them in any way you wish. You can send them to ableton, or to a MIDI out. You can configure the touch screen with all manner of knobs and shit. It's beautiful.

Edit: Let me elaborate on OSC. It's a network protocol for sending MIDI signals bascally. So you can touch an XY interface on your IPOD, and have it control, say a delay effect in Live, or FL, or Cubase.

Does anyone know where there might be some code for simple c64 sound programs? Ya know like they used to have in magazines and books and stuff. I just want to play with my commie a little, while waiting for the Mssiah to arrive. I'm anxious.

that's nice for 99$. i wonder if it sends osc signals, cuz that would be cool. actually it would be kinda lame if it didn't.

The vault is still down as far as I know, but there's still lsdsng.com. I'm hesitant to put the savs up. Not because I think people will steal or whatever, but because, if anything I want to encourage creativity and experimentation. smile

I've download your songs, and other peoples, for inspiration. When a work passes from medium to a person, then mutates, then passes back to medium....that's probably the highest thing that could be accomplished by a site like lsdsng.com. I really liked the tonal kick tutorial.

nitro2k01: Do you mean a coaxial cable?

The RF adapter I used is the one that used to come with the commodore, if you know which one i mean. I believe that I used to be able to run an RCA cable from the RCA jack on the commodore to the composite video in on the television. Maybe I'm mistaken. It was a long time ago. I've ordered one of those DIN a/v cables so I'll be able to test that out.

The reason that I think I may have broke something, is that I soldered the coaxial part of the "RF adapter" back together. After I tried using it, I couldn't get any video, when I had found a way before. Oops. I was sad. That's why I was asking if it was possible that the RF portion of the commodore could maybe be malfunctioning, but the composite could work. I would hate to leave this beautiful commodore unused.

So I have a question for anyone who know a lot about c64s. Is it possible for the RCA video to not work, but the video from the DIN jack would work? I ask because I have a commodore that I connected a shitty RF adapter to(through the RCA), and video stopped coming the the RCA altogether. Huge bummer. Anyway, if you know anything about it, I don't know what to do with it.

My experience is that the lsdj saves are persistent. Say I have pokemon in page two and I save, it will be able to load the save unless I go into LSDJ and load a song. Then my pokemon save gets erased, but my LSDJ songs never get erased. I guess LSDJ saves the data in some special way? Long story short, my LSDJ saves are fine but any other saves are not.

I think in the past i've made some weird remmixes by saving links awkening on page 2. It punched some holes in my patterns. I just play gameboy roms on my iphone now. It's not a bad idea to explore data corruption for composition tho. tongue

That's won't work. If you want to put LSDJ on both pages, just use the software. From my experience, the two pages act separately, it won't just spill over to the next one.

My cart was doing that, and then one day it just stopped. I have no clue what happened. So you may have hope yet.

Yah the program will do that i'm sure. Iguess it should work fine on either page.

That's unfortuante.. I'm sure nonfinite will be cool about it tho. Would the different roms corrupt each others saves?
