reading more into the stats of the thing it is also using DCO so you could probably use the voices to modulate the filters too.

for sure would give some interesting results.

....  group hug?

ooo ok. cool! nifty little thing.

haha i thought it was like attempting to completely emulate the sid sound via the native chip. aleksi eeben did something like that using a vic-20 pretty sweet stuff. it even attempted to emulate the filters if i remember correct.
it was some interesting results.

wow that is seriously shitty. does it have a noise reducer on it? kinda sounds like it on my tiny lappy speakers. otherwise it sounds like just a shity sound card in general.

bending is cool if you know what you are doing but there are somethings that just shouldn't be touched because they are powerful enough as is. For pro gear and synths i wouldn't dare bend unless i knew exactly what i am doing and that the results would be something useful. Its a waste to waste something useful. that is my only problem with bending.
most people destroy good things because of their poor knowledge.
there are talented people who do things useful but most of the time its just makes things shit.
this can be good but if your going to be making shit then use shit. no need for the nice stuff ya kno?
i say go for it but make sure your doing it in an intelligent manner. cant do that then dont fuck with it.

you still want to go ahead?

the thing uses analog filters and other components that are controlled digitally. should be easy to find an out point from a filter and have it loop back into its self. add a pot in between and you have an adjustable feed back circuit. simple but effective but i am not sure it would make the synth any more interesting then it is already. if you threw the analog components at each other you could get some interesting stuff easy. just look at the schematics if possible or just follow the traces and research the components.

the thing to me looks like it is an ok synth as is. i am sure if you learned the synthesis engine inside and out and got creative you could be satisfied without moding the synth at all.

i dont like the kaosspad but i fucking really hate the kassilator. this is just furthering my rage.

why would you pay so much money for basically a preset instrument that has shitty sounds and basically cheats so you can feel like you made something with out actually doing anything?
the thing is a toy. its a really expensive toy for lazy musicians.
for me this device just represents another means for talentless people to muddy the world with mediocre music that they falsely feel pride for.
it's a slap in the face to the whole existence of music and sound.

but....i am just a h8or so what do i know?

u guys want to post some demos of what this sounds like.

it is limited with only preset sounds. doesnt come near able to pull out all the noise the c64 is capable of.

Yeah that's about what I figured after looking into it more. But it's cheap! Thanks.

I got Cynthcart and a keyboard overlay from a friend recently and I love it. I just have to figure out hot to make my own patches cause half of them suck.

MSSIAH Looks incredible to me. Like the ideal software. Every console needs something like it!

if you ever figure out how to a perm. save so that you dont loose your preset after you turn it off let me know cuz dats been my big prob.

peeps say i look pinoy... but alas i am viet.

dear kevin. this is dope.

Nice!

Is Lizzie's guitar a Hello Kitty strat minus the pickguard? If so, that's awesome.

this is confirmed. It was actually the first thing i asked when i played with them. good peeps and they put on a damn good show (both bands) just a few nights ago.
