GenMDM and EMS cart are beyond sold, recycling thread.

Two Game Boy Cameras, red and yellow, excellent condition, but I won't promise perfection, a light scratch or two. $8 shipped each, CONUS

Mystery game boy light, works, takes 2xAA batteries, works great. $6 shipped CONUS

Game boy hard case, "Portable Carry-All" with strap. A little grungy. Great protection for any DMG and 6 carts. Last I checked it should fit any DMG with a simple 3.5mm or 1/4" prosound mounted on the bottom. $6 shipped CONUS

Thanks guys!

Oh yeah, I should comment that those live tracks are admittedly not that great sounding - because they were salvaged from bad show recordings - but I included them because I'm excited about the string trio that played on one and the saxophones that played on the other, and I'm excited about the shows I'm playing soon that utilize both.

plus bonus live tracks, .lsdsng file and awesome art by the one and only Jay Tholen

Oh by the way, although it will be for sale online on Feb 14th, the Crashfaster/The Glowing Stars split 7" single will be available at Rockage.

I've been cleaning fingerprints off gameboy screens and backlights with cleaning cloths for glasses and camera lenses for years with no problem.

They may work on screens, or backlights, I don't know much about them, but I assume they work differently to front lights. Funnily enough they where the first thing I tried, didn't do a thing.

Sorry, I was unclear. I've used them to clean these particular front light in this particular situation with great success, a number of times. Maybe your cloth sucks? Don't be afraid to apply a little pressure! smile

I'm so happy with Jay's work! I'm releasing this single next week, and his turnaround time was super great!

In all seriousness, I love using effects on all kinds of things, but my gameboys usually run pretty close to direct. smile

My usual signal chain is

gb -> decent audio interface -> maybe some reverb -> back into the audio interface

Soundcraft Notepad series
PRICE: Discontinued, readily available on eBay for $50-200 depending on model
INPUTS: 2-4 mono inputs with preamps, 2-4 stereo inputs with a 1/4" and/or RCA
Built just like the Behringer mixers but much better sounding. The largest versions have effects built in.

Worth it for the end of the video.
