Faces were melted, speakers were blown. It was rad.

indeed!

no but on the real, if you're going to have a merch table, make sure you have someone to help run it while you rock da fuck out. even if they're just standing at the table looking akward, it helps!

Idk why, but the SKGB bootyshorts sold pretty fast

cheers on the awesome show! i love to hear the work you put into this

all the gameboys i ever owned as a kid were the really cool see thru ones (clear pocket, clear purple gbc, clear blue advance) which have always managed to find themselves terribly, terribly lost. The first gameboy i starting writing chips on was a shitty teal gbc i picked up at a yard sale.

I then proceeded to write fake music on fake electronic gear like circuit bent shit and computers.

In terms of dmg vs gbc: personally, i find the processor lag is really rad, it adds a swing to your song that is impossible to emulate with groove or T commands.

DEATH TO GBCS

I'm assuming you already read this? if not, def check it out http://little-scale.blogspot.com/2011/0 … or-16.html

i've been using teensy with arduino programs for a little bit now, and i know before you compile arduino code you need to set out put and input within the arduino compiler to midi.

perhaps the same can be said with teensy? a setting inside the bootloader, perhaps?

totally forgot to mention, I tried making hip hop but it was like so out of my element, I just had no worthwhile ideas. I also want to learn some jazz theory / techniques so I can make my tracks sound more funky... I especially like stuff like KOAN Sound and I'd like to make some music in that vein, once I learn how.

dem triplets and dat swing

80% of the time i'm making the music i want to make. 20% of the time it's making me.

I still wish i could make italo-disco, though
