so hip. so drip.

listening now. feeling so hip.

btw, aside from spurn of the moment noise/chip overrated improv pieces that happen, I am mainly just dj'ing my own material on stage.

So what does that make me?

Additional question: In electronic/VGM/chipmusic, what's the difference between a cover and a remix? It's kind of an extreme analogy because she performs rock, not electronic music but bear with me. Linda Ronstadt would never consider herself a DJ even though her claim to fame is re-interpreting rock songs.

It's all in the composition/arrangement.

A remix is a new arrangement with possibly new additional instruments and composition, but the same basic timbres/sound design as the original.

A cover is, for the most part, the same composition and arrangement but different timbres/sound design.

YOYO

http://madwaves.bandcamp.com/album/the-430e53-album

Some new jams about getting bitten by bats before shows, stream of conscious mixing, and slowly eroding, dilapidated, re-purposed childrens toys.

oh btw, me and the lovely, Ayla Rose have collaborated to make some new merch from scratch. Check IT:

(the pattern is a hand screenprinted, tiled, electron microscope slide of a sample of rabies over-layed with the SKGB Baby Cthulhu monster)

Fly forward without fear into the open void.

After a year of running around in strange places, dropping some basement bass, getting lost in the notsonice parts of town, getting bit by bats, and getting pelted with bloodstained dead babies from the asscrack of a dude from texas in the back of an after-hours bar in south philly, SKGB is back to have a nice pleasant little sit-down with ya'll.
