jesus - control the beef you guys

i've already commented previously how dope this project is. I meant it more as a friendly nudge like 'man this is so good, would be a shame if this dude never makes dope shit with it'

i was commenting more on the fact that the dude has the bug and insane skills like Mr.Nex and he'll probably end up turning this into something totally crazy that will consume his life haha,  i mean its already his 3rd build - this shit is addictive yo !

but....
while im here

"You wouldn't have your precious Pro Sound if someone wasn't tinkering around with a GB. They don't have to be top chip musicians."

- probably this was done for music purposes. unless you really care about playing kirby w more bass ?

and

"tbh i couldn't care less if he makes music or not, seeing what really adept modders can do gives me a semi-on, ya dig?"

yes i Dig - i have a full on boner.

Anyway back to the pics. My post was a bit negative, but anyway lets not fuck up a cool thread with bickering.

mine is still fucked. i gave up. any one want to buy my arduinoboy ? lol

i am a pesimist sure : P .......prove me wrong please.

But around here you see a MILLION dudes buying and painting their gameboys and making logo's and stickers for their names before they've made a single tune. And most of those dudes sell their dmg collection a year later i imagine haha

call me a pesimist but i have a feeling you're never gonna make any music with this thing.  I mean, It seems alot of work to build all this if you haven't even begun making chiptooonz yet : P

i always said there just needs to be a group made on soundcloud. like the chipmusic.org group. everyone has a soundcloud. we add our songs to the group. simples. once its going can always have sub-groups. like chip unce / chip electronica etc.

Just wanted to say thanks to all that downloaded / or bought a tape. By all accounts the traffic on it was really great, tapes are all but sold out...... and on a personnal level im glad that it went down well here. I was a little apprehensive, seeing as its pretty different from the last album so cheers to you all. You have broad minds and good taste haha : P

I often download huge chunks of stuff, and then sort through it and end up deleting most of it since it’s not the style I’m into. Its kind of a lot of work and it seems like there should be a better way. I follow lots of blogs, but you usually only get a smattering of releases that writer knows about, it’s not super comprehensive. Since I don’t buy most of these albums before paying, looking at previews on bandcamp is particularly time consuming.

But this is what i like about discovering music though. Stumbling on links, finding shit sometimes, but finding total gems others. Also its how i find some stuff that i wouldn't have gone looking for originally. Im not trying to piss on your cornflakes - but i dont see the need for such a site. Soundcloud nowadays is pretty good at playing through tunes similar to the one you originally loaded. Just last night i was listening to a friends page and after his track it started playing something related (i think it was a song my friend had liked), but as we share similar tastes - it was one of the best tunes id heard in ages. Also i sometimes see who has my records in their bandcamp fan page and check their collection. Often because i find it interesting to see what the people who have bought my music are also into....and this way i find a bunch of cool shit. While i dont think you're idea is pointless, I dont think its particularly needed. But thats just my opinion, personally i like searching more music and going on weird tangents to find good stuff.

that nurse is hawt. she looks so flexible haha

first.awesome design

i do the clips in live
mpd to play drums beats over some bits
midi key to play synth over beat bits
the mpd's are a great way to have fun when you play and make it look like you're doing shit
and something like a nanokey or i-controls is helpful to control delays, freeze, filters - all that jazz

pretty cool. im not too much a fan of the mixing of the drums if im honest. the drums just dont have enough punch for me. But im familiar with your releases, i think these re-interpretations must be dope live.
