Sharing his Lazerscale voyage with us in the form of this 34 track compilation of endeavours, Beverage delivers a release of such experimental, emotional and psychological vastness that it’s almost overwhelming.
Ordered chronologically, this set of choice cuts, put together by the Pxl-Bot team and Beverage himself, forms an outline for the emotional and musical journey that Beverage and a small group of willing artists undertook. Ranging from beautiful drone, video-game-esque melodically wrought pieces, fist pumpers, glitchy head-cavers and some straight up insanity, this vast release features as many mind-boggling moments as ones of pure wonder. With influences and genres aplenty, it’d be difficult to NOT find something you love on this colossal release; you may even find 34 of these. A description doesn’t give this journey the justice it deserves; we just hope you enjoy it!!!

Hahaha, we should be toning down the amount of releases we do after we come back from our short break next week, but saying that, we've got about  4 logged up already hmm I'll start adding Pxl-Bot stuff to the wiki meself when we come back if you like smile

All the time. Apart from some of the time.

Varied, memorable and truly unforgettable, we here at Pxl-Bot are incredibly excited to be bringing you this release.
Having etched a name himself for writing insane psychedelic chiptune with enough outside influences to sink a boat, Infirm Individual stays true to his reputation in what may be his most varied and complete-sounding release to date. Starting off with a duo of spacey atmosphere regulating ambient tinged and vocally soft tracks, the lull is quickly disrupted with the epic and sprawling “Exorcism Of Ghouls & Ghosts” which jumps between outright insanity, back to ambience and then schizophrenically through high tempo fist-pumpable melodies and drum cascades.
What makes us so proud to give you this piece by this amazing artist is its pure focus, and its attention to the minute details which underlines an artist truly perfecting their unique and completely original style, and it’s a beautiful thing to behold. Not to be void of all insanity, “Earth Egg” and “It’s Time To Flay” spit a gob on unadulterated noise in your face before the release’s death metal infused closure lays you out.
It’s not for the faint of heart.

Tracklist:
1.    The Oul Rider Theme
2.    Shaman’s Awakening (The Message)
3.    Exorcism Of Ghouls & Ghosts
4.    Earth Egg
5.    It’s Time To Fly (Horsehead Nebula)
6.    Spawn Of Resurrection

Satisfaction and a thirst to experiment. And also, more importantly, a want to write music that I would want to listen to over anything else that currently exists. I think without that pure love for your own music, I can't really see a reason to compose, especially in a small scene like chiptune.

As for albums, all have been written in a specific two weeks (so my emotional input is around the same) or based on an idea (the Square Wave Octaves, and my current project of 5 EPs, each based separately on either Water, Fire, Earth, Wind or Aether, like I said, experimentation! tongue)

PS, probably the best question I've seen asked on here

The second of our birthday-based joy-spreading releases is this time coming from the talents of the brilliant FuturNari.
Beautifully crafted songs with melodies as equally captivating, FuturNari delivers another slice of genuine chiptune gold through his sequel to the previously mind-altering-ly good release ‘Another Unlikely Hero’. Having come a huge amount of distance in terms of compositional skill since then, this time round FuturNari delivers a focused sucker punch in the form of five meticulously pieced together works. Drawing obvious influences from many sides of the chiptune square, ‘Another Unlikely Hero II’ results in a truly unique set of sounds and styles sure to leave you moving your body for half of the journey, and captivated via melodical influence the other. We hope you enjoy another Grade A offering from the brilliant FuturNari as much as we did!!

Tracklist:
1.    He Laughed
2.    No One Ever Said
3.    That A Hero Feels Purpose
4.    I Shouldn’t Have Asked
5.    We All Need (Samuel Jack)

We're thinking of doing a full move sometime soon, and using shirts or stickers to fund it, but it's a bit of a double-edge sword as a lot of artists release for free with us, but then do a bandcamp release for money, as bandcamp features higher quality download options. So releasing everything for free would be a bit restricting, and I'd hate to end up making all our releases dollah-based. Like I said, double-edge sword tongue But we take bandcamp hosting from artists when we can, as it works as a way of cross-promoting their older stuff (Analog, Starpilot, VCMG etc etc)

BUT we are setting a bandcamp for an upcoming inhouse compilation with a "pay-what-you-want" distribution model to hopefully put a bit towards funding a site move and a change to how we host our releases

tl;dr, maybe lator

Dripping with variety, VCMG’s newest offering to the chiptune world shouts “range” throughout its duration. Differing from salty drum-strengthened waltzes to arps and scale explosive hyper-dance, VCMG can be seen here clearly demonstrating a huge amount of different styles and composition methods.  Creeping house music and pumping melancholy anthems tossed in also really secures this release as a pure and simple showcase of why VCMG deserves the attention of the chiptune scene. Individually mastering all of the styles he tackles, this release focuses on creativity and the expansion of style over ‘playing it safe’, and the results speak for themselves through the intricate melodies and ample differences in atmosphere.

Tracklist:
1.    Tell Me A Tale, Salty Seaman
2.    Caffeine
3.    Pl0xw3rt Plzz
4.    Faster Than The Speed of Light
5.    Cityglow

We ain't got the dollah for that, more in we'd put out the winning single as a digital release and promote to high heavens anyway you like (for free, bandcamp pay-what-you-want/ set price by you etc etc)

And other things that are yet finalised so we aren't promising, and as such will be kept under our hats for the meantime smile
