Just gave it a shot. This is amazing! I'm on linux (easier drivers!) and I love that I can now use multirom again! Some suggestions I had were:

Any way you could make the multirom part work without a copy of LSDJ in the rom? It seems like most of the code is already there. I'd just like to be able to fit more stuff onto bank 2.

Ability to return back to the menu via some kind of button combo? This isn't a big deal I just thought it would be cool.

Anyways, this is awesome, thank you so much! I wish I was a gameboy genius like you!

Well this is pretty stupid. I followed thretris and low-gain's tutorials, but it won't work. When I plug headphones in, the sound to my TV cuts out but all I hear is a low buzz. The buzz does change slightly depending on game interactions (opening the menu in Pokemon) but still no sound. I've checked my joints on both sides, checked for continuity, tried a different pair of headphones, even re soldered just for kicks and all nothing. So that's why I'm posting here, I've done everything I can think of!

My questions are:
1) Could the gauge of my wire cause problems? I don't actually know the exact gauge. It's probably bigger than I'd like, but not unnecessarily big. I've used it on ness audio mods no problem.

2) I'm testing it outside of the case. Just a bare PCB in the SNES. Could this be a problem? I can't see why it would be, but my wisdom is not yet infinite.

3) Does any one have ideas as to why it's not working? I'd love to hear them!

Thanks guys!

I can't seem to get it to work. I get this error when trying to locate the lsdj file:
"An error happened while accessing a file:java.io.FileNotFoundException: lsdj.gb (No such file or directory)"

I've tried it on both windows and Ubuntu using the official java 6 and open JDK version 7 respectively. Same error on both systems. Any tips? I'd really like to give this a shot!

I really like this one:

Is that a whiteboy or just a normal one that looks really white? Did you use some kind of magic technique? If you tell me, I'll buy a hex inverter to say thanks!

Not sure if it's the same as linux but try running lsusb in a terminal. While the cart is plugged in.

Edit: NVM, just googled it and it's not on osx. Go to Applications->Utilities->System profiler and see if you can see the EMS cart listed.

Oh well....maybe next time!

I've got a gamegear I'd trade for the sk-100. Shipping to the UK might be killer though.

Totally makes sense. I thought the lsdj sav was pretty big, but I didn't know it took up all of the space! Now all we need is someone to implement this into the mac/linux software with a gui...

Anyways, just wanted to make sure people were aware of this!

I don't see why it wouldn't.

Did this ever get posted here? Sorry if it did, but I don't think it did. Just found this over on nesdev tonight. Unfortunately I'm on Linux and haven't tested it, but it looks super awesome. Also on the page are patches for many games that previously wouldn't save on the cart. So here you go, and post your results.

NOTE: This shouldn't solve any of the driver issues.

EMS Software

I've got both sizes of security bits, would you trade for M&L Superstar Saga?

OH OF COURSE ON THE MAGICAL DERP CARTS THAT I CANT AFFORD

i was thinking something more for PC or java or something, but a straight up gameboy player would be pretty cool too though i suppose, if they could play songs in a row or something

I mean, there's a pretty sweet .lsdsng player for gameboy called LSDJ

Not that this is a productive post at all, but I lol'ed.

Just a bump to say if you've got any offers hit me up. Also I'm open to trades so tell me what you got!
