Thanks all! We both appreciate the feedback very much.

I just wish there was more of this. The last track doesn't really feel like "the end". sad It starts off like an ending, but then at the end it feels like the middle. >_> I dunno what it is... maybe because it doesn't end on the tonic...?

It does indeed have a rather sudden ending, but we wanted to leave the listeners wanting more... if they liked the EP that is smile. It's possible this collaboration will happen again.

Gas Powered EP

Download for free here: http://kubbi.bandcamp.com/album/gas-powered-ep

After 6 weeks of composing, producing and procrastrinating me and my friend finally finished the new Kubbi EP "Gas Powered EP". We tried to blend the typical Kubbi chiptune/electronic style with heavy guitar riffs and the beautiful sound of acoustic guitars, and we are both really proud of what we ended up with. Sharing much of the same musical interests, passion for producing and addiction to the web cartoon "Bravest Warriors" made this collaboration inevitable. This 4 Track EP of original music is a dedication to everyone at Cartoon Hangover, Pendleton Ward and all other fans of their work.

Let us know what you think

This'll be huge! Excited smile

I haven't seen a lot of scales with three semitones in a row (except in blues). From G and up this scale must have the notes G A# B C D E F (with the thirds and fifths of each chord), I can't really decide what I'd call that.... It sounds cool though!

"Gas powered EP"
Coming to http://kubbi.bandcamp.com/ May 1st, 2013

To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Sleet me and Jonas Dam are making a new EP together inspired by the work of Pendleton Ward! We've watched so much Adventure Time and Bravest Warriors that we simply couldn't NOT write this. As well as all the other albums this EP will be free to download. The songs are composed by Kubbi and Jonas and guitars played by Jonas. Give us your thoughts and ideas so we can make this EP as algebraic as possible. Don't forget to share, like and all that good stuff!

Stream and download for free at http://kubbi.bandcamp.com/album/2012-singles

Throughout 2012 Kubbi released 3 full length albums, Transmittance, Sleet and Circuithead. Some might think this already is more than enough, but heck no. Next to the album releases he produced several independent singles, released on his Soundcloud. This album is a collection of these tracks, remixed and mastered in HD quality. It shows the more childish, unceremonious and playful side of Kubbi that to some point is left behind in the process of writing an album.

2012 Singles offers a variety of genres and an eclectic sound with the Kubbi signature producing style still recognizable. The tracks are not sequenced in chronological order, but the evolution of the Kubbi sound is still discoverable.

All you Renoise users! Share some good xrni. (renoise instrument files), some tips and whatnot!

I haven't seen a lot of Renoise threads (perhaps I missed them). I think it's a great piece of software and it would be nice to have people share some experience.

You learn music by listening to music
