a GBA SP without backlit

Mind that the light has an effect on the sound of the SP

the adapters do not fit as solidly as a mini-jack, so, an easy mod does have a use I think, with or without an extreme improvement on the sound

the drumkit i used on LSDJ,

SPs are known to have problems with sample playback, I would not take that output as a quality control. Maybe try nanoloop...

If you don't use the wave for samples(drum kits etc), SP is another option to consider, as arottenbit said. Doesn't have the best sound, but, it is compatible with all types of cartridges, has a light and colours, it is small and foldable (screen stays clean) and sounds good enough for sure...

You can also add a mini-jack audio output as Capcomposer shows here.
It's also possible to fit the mini-jack on the left of the cart-slot so that you can save the link port for syncing the SP.
NeX has also shown a way on how to improve the sound.

EDIT: that was for getting only one. If you plan to get more than one, it's a different story

...the solution to all the "4-way hub waste" or "shift the pins" problems is hiding here smile and a cart reader here

a very inspiring documentary is the one about the BBC's radiophonic workshop...(reminds me to upload an old lsdj track)
EDIT: found the name, it's "The Alchemists of Sound "

I finally got to bending my yamaha pss 470.
The fun is endless, so i recommend getting one and opening it up.
It is one of the cases where the effort is rewarded in almost every connection you try smile
In fact, the bents are so many and sound so good, that the problem is managing space or chosing for only the best bents...
I ended up with 9 pots and I only worked on one chip smile. more, next time.

Anyway, since it sounds so good and there's so much more to do later, it is a pity to have it out of sync.
Does any of the pros smile know of a way to get it to listen to trigger or midi clock?
The highly liquid boards are reported incompatible...

The release date depends on a list of things. We are two persons to go through the tracks, so add communication to list smile.
But! don't worry, as you have noticed, my aim is not to make this a yet-another-long-collab.-story. When there is a date, it will be announced.

...still waiting for the responses from the other labels. If none moves, probably error code  will host the files and release a CDr.

PM me for any questions or suggestions.

I maybe really wrong on this, but if you are looking for a GBA Micro to sync NL with drum machines etc, its better to go for the SP, as I have never ever found a link cable or adapter for the Micro. I've seen them online on the Nintendo shop etc, but its us only and I've no idea if they are still available.

If you want them all stereo/panning, independent and live, flash the rom with your tracks to 4 carts, mute according to your needs, sync using low-gain's 4-way GB hub and play smile...quite manual, but simple.
edit: not an exact answer to the original question, but a way around it actually
