The deadline is postponed for one and only time to May-day (1st of May).
This is not because of special gear promises (creativity and end result is the first priority) but due to the low response rate of 25%.
Those who reached the first deadline will be have priority if the number of submissions increases too much.
Of course, if you want to draw back or rewrite a song within the next month, just do it.

you are on the list
Both types feel like they will last for ever... the rest is a matter of preference between modern and classic
low-gain wrote:kinda nice to see the two versions side by side... lol you can really see the build quality differences.
for the busy ones: just keep working on it ...hint, hint
two days to go and only 6 submissions...who's still in, who's really not up for it?
edit: check! e.s.c.
...an idea is to try and use the amp (and speakers?) in the NUBY gameboy speakers...then you can add it on your gameboy only when you need it ...portable, no cables
thanks for the advice, that would be the next step
i will leave them here first to give people the chance to grab or trade one...there is enough for 3!
many ways...check little-scale's comparison table in one of the topics or his home page. it describes very clearly the differences between these two and many more

but out of curiosity, how is this similar/different to an arduinoboy?
updated the original topic by adding two lsdjmc2 built by firestARTer
the list keeps growing, the songs not arriving... ...let's see how it goes during the last week...
good to get all this interest in this comp...would also be good to start receiving some sounds too
deadline is in 2 weeks...ticktockticktock...
Georges Gilles de la Tourette
DMG=>electric drum/onputor/nanovoice/nanoloop/UCBN/deathray/SHITWAVE/pounder/...
GBA/ds=>pixelh8's synths/nanoloop/glitchDS/korgDS/electroplankton/...
...look around, there is a lot options to pick from
it is a great piece!
Look deeper into his website to find more of his amazing ideas.
The looks of his works is of course subjective, but works GREAT for me
nice to see some effort on this!!
isn't it easier to do it the software way though?
I hope there is enough people with interest in this to motivate nitro to add more to shitwave
Count me as one of them
2.x is quite flexible by means of sounds and spacious by means of saving patterns...
However, it cannot easily sound as raw and anlalog-ish in the same way as 1.x
if you try the demos, just pay attention to the sounds that can be produced by extreme values on each parameter and you'll get the point
the only difference of the demo in a cart is the ability to save...the rest is the same
edit: they are both great!
