FROSTBYTE, YOU WILL SPEAK WHEN SPOKEN TO!

I kid....but Grub is actually right...The song will sound like it is ending FIRST and beginning LAST.  I want to see how you guys deal with the complete opposite of what is normally done.

I tend to forget that most of the things I create for comedic value aren't actually nearly as important as I envision...

Questions:

Did you just play the chromatic scale on a loop to satisfy their obsession with carnival music?
Were there any long-neck giraffes or pet cats and dogs present?
Did a Pelican steal your cellphone?

I would combine them into just one thread.  It would be easier to find and contribute to.

PWM is amazing...you basically get a smooth Phaser effect in LSDJ.  It really stands out when compared to the normal technique of just switching around the duty cycle presets in a phrase.

I'd be happy to post techniques by you guys on my blog (crediting each person of course) that arent something I already plan to write about.  Hit up my email [email protected].

Pro tip:  Mess around with the waveform directly (select + up on the synth screen or some shit).  If you've never done it before, you'll thank me.

I'll probably get all caught up tomorrow.  I'll shell out some tips on my blog (since I want to try to keep the comp/challenge/OST threads on topic)

And video game development ;D

EDIT: Video game development unrelated to the NES OST.  I realized after I wrote that it might seem a bit shady haha.

No DS-10. LSDJ accepted.  Famitracker accepted. Midines accept.  I respect all of you, but dear god I want to go at least a week without reading an "authenticity" related discussion in these forums.

The tracks submitted so far are amazing.  I need to catch up a bit with uploading them to the soundcloud.  Super super busy last and this week.

Keep the tracks comin'.  Love ya, babes!

I forgot you were from canada.  Guess whose team you guys are playing?  My team...and probably 2PLAYER's.

Bring it.

Alright I'm posting this here but it also applies to the Bi-Weekly.

Let the 8bc recruitment begin.

Link these threads in any song you upload that has been entered.  If anyone seems interested, make sure you let them know that they are less competitive than they might think.

I've been busy with my blog, setting up my NEW show sometime between July 1-5. It ain't summer themed this time...so people will get their faces melted of with my usual style...plus some ha'dcore TRANCE (You'll be first to know the details, 2PLAYER...don't worry your pretty little head)

I've also been developing an Iphone game with two buds of mine. The main idea is my brainchild as is the art and music...but my friends are doing all the coding (as well as brainstorming ideas with me) so I couldn't do it without them. More details in the future.  We're keeping all the development details secret until we've secured our names on it.  Can't be too careful these days.  Look up 'The Blocks Cometh' (My favorite game in a long...long time) and what happened to their team 'Halfbot'....shit sucks. let's just say ours an 8-bit styled platformer with original mechanics that will keep you playing for the rest of your life.

...THE REST OF YOUR LIFE

I like how no one has noticed the winner listed for Comp #8 in the OP........
