For my pi setup, I made a sep fat32 partition just for piggy and its files so I could sneakernet it to the desktop pc.

Pretty sure you can shrink any image down to 4gb, it’s just a standard to make it easy to share

That never worked for my on piggy in the past, unless something changed.

you could also just upload the .kits! Use EXPORT KIT from the patcher to get the exported files.

With MGB youd be better off saving snapshots in your daw.If you use a daw with midi plugins you can do cool stuff with LFOs and midi envelopes beyond the features MGB gives you. Then youd save these basic settings in the daw and send them as needed in your songs.
