You can make a script to have it run from everywhere, I used this documentation:

stallation
when its all said and done, you can type a single phrase in the command line anywhere to jump into pig action...
I got it working on the pi but its still kinda alpha, at least with usb audio. Getting weird crashes too.
I only use it from the CLI.
at least he didn't say "grow a pair".

Anyone ehar anything about this program? The results are pretty cool.
That fatty is totally right.
Last bump.. i swear.
Thats a tracker convention. Blame those guys.
I have an opl3 base Midibox FM and there is one feature I can't quite wrap my head around. The MBFM Manual (http://www.ucapps.de/midibox_fm_manual.html about 60 percent of the way down) refers to it as a "wavetable sequencer" where as Adlib Tracker 2 calls them macros.
It looks to me like a kind of LSDJ like table for inputting lots of midi CC commands at sub tick levels? Anyone able to confirm? I
I dont own this praticular midibox but reading the manual it seems to be similar

you have up to 32 steps, and you can adjust three values (ccs) at any speed using rate up to 500hz. You dont have hop, but with all those extra steps you should be able to get some funky modulations going.
Just stop worrying about lowercase chipmusicians, and focus on being a great capital C chipmusician.
well the midi version is something like 4.0.1.. i think later versions mightve actually broken the keyboard stuff that aboy uses.
Dont let naive enthusiasm ever die. My stopping tctd was more to do with my desire to take that energy and focus it more inwardly than any problems with the chipscene, but I can tell you it feels a lot better to get feedback for stuff you create instead of the mirror you created for other creators.
i like gambatte too.
I actually had a problem getting piggy to make noise because amixer was muted by default. I used the faux gui tool.
cpu optimizations mostly. Projects seem more stable. Bunch of random changes that don't really make it better, just different.
Final days! Get on dis.
They didnt rip off the midibox sid, but man they are milking that xoxbox design ripoff.
