Doesn't cost much, if your time is worthless , and you have the skill.
Anyways with vst support, the point is moot and it compares more with something like the c64ctpc cable, or something like mmc64... in that case its not better in size but is much smaller, and probably quieter!
I wonder how well it would work under a vm.. its just serial communications right?
Yea you can! Got mine this morning.. if the altest version is buggy, whatas a good version to test against that isnt so buggy?
On TCTD:
Total of whole one week IE: 7.61%
Breakdown
8.0 59.09%
7.0 30.39%
6.0 10.39%
5.5 0.13%
Pity that one 5.5 user. I have more readers on Blackberry, Amiga os, or Ps3s.
VST support adds VST SUPPORT. People want a nondiy alternative to the midibox sid or sidstation, and $200 for a single chip version that works as a vst AND does all the emu/playback stuff seems like a must have. This one, I think will make people think a lil harder.
Agree with you on mac support. I saw a compiled version they should just release that as a unsupported beta.
You dont need to mod it it, the device contains a jumper to enable dc power input. AS I said. I imagine if you did the external power you'd worry less about USB bus noise.
Anyways Im a happy owner of the 4 chip hardsid, I just wish this one had the vst functions so I can recommend it more to people who ask me about it!
Yea sav data is ROM agnostic.
I am pretty disappointed that this doesn't have VST support.. seems arbitrary! Also it contains a DC power input you can use if your usb bus is underpowered.
Yea I think it should highlight cool stuff on the forums, or have featured songs
I always need more mediums when I order shirts!
Microsoft has made phones that play mp3s and videos for years.
No midi, nor piggy portage.
Also: I want a high quality download, so I can have c-men in my house.
