i'm hoping for xinon or sulumi but it's never going to happen, i'll take portalenz/hally/q330 as consolation
I'd definitely fanboy out if Xinon is one of the unannounced artists.

Why are you guys buying keyboard adapters? you pull out the old keyboard cable and replace it with a DMG-07 cable or original link cable.
He posted the color-coded wiring guide for the specific adapter he linked to, this means I can solder it together without guessing and/or buying and messing around with a multimeter. Also, this will allow me to change keyboards without extra soldering if I find one I like better.
I made a keyboard adapter today using this: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7791. I chose it because its the cheapest price I could find for 2 female ps/2 plugs . Coloring as follows:
PS/2 DMG
Red (Data) -------- Yellow
White (GND) ------ Blue
Green (Vcc) ------- Brown
Black (Clock) ----- Green
Hope this helps anyone
I just ordered two sets, this seems like the cheapest/simplest method.
I'll let you know if it works out for me.
How fast does this place ship?
I've got my first show in three weeks and would like to have another backlit/prosound DMG for it, so I'm don't think there's enough time to send it to one of the mod shops and get it back in time. So if someone can offer one to me (or can mod one of mine in time), let me know. I'm not looking to pay eBay prices, heh, I can use a Nuby Light in that case.
I'm personally hoping that if they have people in mind already, USK is who they're aiming for from Japan.
I was there for the first two and I'll be there for this one.
SO STOKED.
Hope to meet up with my Texas peeps again as well.

Thanks for the information guys, I'll keep backing up regularly until I get a feel for when I should be expecting to change.
Ikea sells 10 packs of really good AAs for $1.99 so I could honestly not care if I'm ditching them early either.
Okay, so I got a beautiful backlit Game Boy for my birthday and I'm curious, since the Power LED is no longer there, how does one gauge the battery life? Will the backlight start to fade out? Should I just guess? Does the backlight decrease the normal battery life?
Of course, letting the battery die while tracking is usually bad, right? I backup often, but still..
One song I'm working on now, the lead plays naked but I've set up a few tables to give it some altered sounds that aren't used in the song itself. I'll be switching up the tables and duty length when I play it live soon, so I'll see how well it works. Sounds nice when I'm messing around, so..
^ Yeah, that's the same thing I was trying to explain with the "chunks" thing above.
Which, wasn't explained well either.
So...

02Means that when 01 ends, it loops back to 00 instead of playing 02.
Yes, but that is the case for Song AND Live Mode.
I know I'm not crazy on this.. at least I hope I'm not.
Since nonfinite hasn't posted here yet on it, I'll give a summary of what was posted elsewhere.. there's been a slight delay with these. The (test?) batch they got back was very slightly darker than they should have been so they are requesting a fixed batch. Also, apparently, kitsch may be selling the ones they've got anyway.
LIMITED EDITION DARK DARK GRAY SCREENS. BE DIALING.
Yeah, I can't make sense of that either.
I THINK it's sort of referring to isolating chucks of a song that can loop so you can jump in and out of these chunks at will during Live Mode. I mean, that's all I can pull from it. The rewind thing doesn't make sense since the looping properties are identical in Song and Live Mood as far as I know. Maybe it's referring to behavior that's change since 3.5.1, I mean that's a long time ago.
Ah yes, your second example is what I've been doing sort of. I guess I couldn't get my head around not putting the command at the beginning of the bend. My experimentation is in order!
Gotcha, so if you want to bend UP, trigger the L with a higher note.
C 5 ---
--- ---
--- ---
--- ---
A#5 L02
Bends UP to A#6.
C 5 ---
--- ---
--- ---
--- ---
B B L01
This should (in theory) be the exact opposite effect of using an L on an empty step.
