This is a little project I've been working on for a while. Inspired by EvilWezil's thread about removing noise floor by inverting one side of a stereo signal and summing to mono, I made a circuit that does exactly that. It's totally passive and stupid-easy to assemble. PCB design by Kitsch.
Here's a link to a draft of the info sheet which contains a before/after waveform comparison and general explantion of use: https://www.facebook.com/groups/chipthr

Huh, hadn't thought about mods being spread across time zones. I guess that needs to be taken into consideration. Reminds me of "Eastern Standard Tribe" by Cory Doctorow.

It would be awesome if the thread starter could see how many users have hidden it. Passive-aggresive-fuck-you
Internal Mega memory cart? Never heard of that one, hows that work?

imagine something like this sitting near the top of the cm.org home page. you could either collapse it, or hide the whole thing forever, or remove it automatically after X # of posts, or whatever.
my point is, whatever you can do up front to effectively guide users into being good citizens here can help to reduce unwanted forum pollution.
This is a pretty slick solution.
I don't see how any suggestions that involve every post being scrutinized could possibly work.
Rules need to be "all or nothing" and only require a lot of involvement from the mods when there's a complaint/concern.
CC threafs annoy the piss out of me. I support banning them.

No, theres another one thats moving along pretty quicly but it has an unfortunate name I cant remember. Logo is a little fox dude.
There's that new GBA-specific tracker that's still being developed that I can never remember the name of... (hang on, I'll find it)

Edit: Accidentally a word.
15 copies total. Rarest of the rare. Hen's teeth, even.
Downstate wrote:i want to bump this rather than start a new thread because what is a fairly simple query about lgpt.
when i make my folders of samples for it and drop them onto ze psp there is obviously a certain file size limit that crashes the thing.
does anyone know this limit ? i think its maybe for the sample duration. For example i had a fairly long horror film sample i was using and when i go to load a certain splice of it that is perhaps more than a few seconds long, it crashes.
Anyone know the limit to sample lenght......and also total number/size of samples allowed for each track.
sorry if this is retard but its p p pissin me off a tad.
I asked a similar question a while back. The answer I got was that it all depends on how much ram you've got. For PSP that means either 32 or 64 MB (look up your specific model). Of course, there's other stuff using ram besides your samples so I'm not sure an exact "choke size" is possible to find?
RECORDS ARE SOLD OUT! YAY! ...unless you didn't get one in which case :'(

Scotland's Comptroller shares his dark future vision in these two pulse grinding tracks (available to a lucky few as solid-formed-data for direct aural insertion) ...
