This is the forum post that I originally got the cas file from but it seems that it's not there anymore.  Maybe the virtual disk version will help?

You can find Synther 7 for the coco on a virtual disk on RTSI at:
ftp://www.rtsi.com/RSDOS/incoming/netru … ks/D06.dsk

I did a cassette version out of it that you can download at:
http://goyim.dyndns.org:8080/coco/synther7.cas

I used to play it a lot during my coco days.

Enjoy!

Datathrash Recordings has been invited to do our very own preshow for this year's BRKfest in Lexington, KY!  This will be a free show right next to the main BRKfest venue before the second day of the festival (Aug 3).  We have Datathrash artists from all accross the country already lined up and ready to put on a once-in-a-lifetime show of lofi electronic hardcore awesomeness.

What do we need from you?  Well, a little gas money wouldn't hurt.  The show itself will be free to all comers and our pockets are only so deep.  Some of these guys will be traveling some serious miles and could really use some more help!
But wait, there's more!  You won't only score some serious good karma for helping our dedicated starving artists.  You can also get...

*Pixel art "Datathrash X BRKfest" shirts!
*An exclusive compilation of new and unreleased tracks from the artists that will be performing and other Datathrash bros and supporters!
*Early supporters will get pins, stickers, CDs, and anything else we can fit in with your shirt order.  First come, first serve!
*Potential for a limited edition DVD of performances, videos, and interviews (we're working on it...)

Expect a lot of updates as this campaign progresses.  We're doing everything we can think of to help our artists the best way we can!

Thanks for taking to time to check this out!

NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER!!!!!!

already looking for it, I'll link if I find ot.

Hey cool!  I've still got a Coco2 hanging around.  I had an "edited" version of Synther7 that ran on it fairly well if I could ever get the tape data loaded.

EDIT:  I say "edited" because apparently Synther7 was written for PAL only and wouldn't function correctly on NTSC.  A forum member somewhere did a quick hack for me that mostly worked.

These "i wanna help make chiptunesmusic bigger! big_smile " usually get the same (good!) suggestions which all boil down to "be a supportive member of the community".  As in, just do what we are all already doing.  The "meta-question" that maybe we should be looking at is:  Is there anything that actually WOULD make chipmusic available to a much wider audience and do we even WANT to do those things?

Why not? If you could make money why wouldn't you?

Well duh.  Of course I would like to make money.  Assuming of course that I didn't have to make any personal compromises that would destroy the very reasons I'm became interested in $$tha chip game$$ in the first place.  Churning out the lofi equivalent of The Goo Goo Dolls or NanoloopLSDJchiptuneLQQK sales schemes is not interesting to me.

I've been looking as well (got a 1.1 of ebay on it's way) and haven't found the 1.1 manual.  However, I think that everything should be the same as 1.2 except for the custom waveform on S (only 1 in 1.1 and 16 in 1.2) so here's the 1.2 manual:

hope you didnt get the one from mexico... i got that one awhile back and it didnt save...

The one I got is coming from Florida but I'm assuming the battery will be dead and that I'll have to find a replacement.  We shall see...
