Is that so you couldn't just use/steal their work? (not that I'd ever think you'd do something like that, egr heart )

Uhm, only ONE of the concepts says DATA TRASH.

I am pretty damn blind at the best of times, but I'm sure all 4 of those that have text say Datatrash.

Just go to http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/ledx3 and buy a new backlight for your GB. Don't waste your time trying to cannibalise your GBA.

Isn't it a bit strange to make a new thread for something you uploaded all the way back in July 2011?

I thought you meant like a proper calendar with monthly chip pin-ups.

Hey, I just wanted to add that I recommended Hugo posted this here.

He contacted me about the job, and I didn't really fit the style (it's more of a SNES-y mix of sounds), so I'm passing on the opportunity to you guys!

It's a great opportunity to get your music on the DSi, and the pay is extremely fair.

I'd recommend you take up his offer!

I'm really not sure if this is an insult or not because of the language barrier. Either way, thanks for listening.

did any of you try to sell music?? i tried that and its very hard, trust me!

I have actually successfully sold music and continue to do so, and so has br1ght pr1mate. The last job I finished (just a few days ago actually) for 2 tracks and some sfx paid $250, and that was from a 2 man indie.

I have no problem at all with developers asking for people to do free work for free games by the way. I just find it a bit rich you're offering us much less than what you obviously consider to be the going rate for this kind of work ($20 compared to your rate for 5 tracks - $125 to $250).

I will say no more. Good luck with your game.

Could I ask why you're only offering $20 for 5 tracks, when on your own website it says you're a composer and you charge $50 to $100 for just 2 tracks?

I'd be willing to write what you need if you're willing to negotiate a bit on price.

Haha, so ridiculous!

I personally wouldn't mind if they got rid of the music section altogether, as I follow the releases page on the forum a lot more than I do follow the music section.

I very much doubt they'll introduce top song of the day/week/month as that sounds too much like 8bc.

He isn't flaming, he's simply telling you to follow the rules of the board.

it's kind of like the fun of having a record label without the risk or stress.

I think you'll find that is called having a netlabel.
