This album has been getting a ton of buzz.  It's a chip NIN Pretty Hate Machine tribute.

This is how a tribute album should be done, not like that awful Radiohead one.  He uses 8 different systems: C64, Atari, NES, NES w VRC6, Gameboy, MSX, Master System, Japanese Master System.  I know some people on this site gave him some shit for starting a kickstarter for this a while back, but he did license it all correctly.

Family started to accept it once I started doing some higher profile gigs.  My friends couldn't be less supportive honestly.

Yes. Why doesn't he explain the WAVE channel in more depth?

WAV is a journey one must take alone.  One must meditate on WAV.

As Paul Gauguin asked, "Where does WAV come from? What is WAV?  Where is WAV going?"

I love ths response.

The LSDJ manual is super helpful, imho.  There have been many times when I mention a technique and people say, "Holy cow, where did you learn that?" and I reply, "it's in the manual."

Yeah this!

Exceprt the wave channel. Man does it skimp on that

Wow that was awful

So what game are you playing up there?

I think the general booking for MAG has been by people who don't really know the chip scene that well.  So they usually bring in a guy like Zen Albatross who hashis finger on the pulse of the scene to book the chip showcase however he pleases.

No idea if this is the case this year

I modded my DMG with two 6L6 Russian winged Cs tubes to really get some warmth out of my wave channel.
