Game Boy Boy Colour.
lol

Either an Asus netbook or a Thinkpad T61.

I use the Eee PC 1001PX for my music stuff.
It can run FL okay so long as you don't go crazy with it.
Although I am running Arch Linux on it which is a gazillion times more efficient than Windows 7.
I can get the latency down to about 12ms with only playing wav files and a few effects (part of my live setup).

This is the mixer I bought a couple months ago.
Perfect if you're in the "all I have is a twenty and only need 4 inputs/1 output and none of those EQ knobs 'n shit" boat that I was in.

off topic, but im not a member of any metal forums and im guessing many of the peeps here are also into death metal; can anyone reccomend some good brutal death metal? i like Decapitated but thats about as far as my knowledge goes (aside from gothenberg sound) I favour the super staccatto chug breakdowns if thats any help, and not so much a fan of the super slow styles (obituary? mortuary? i forget, those guys on roadrunner back in the day)

soz for diversion!

Yeah, my buddy and I make black metal & brutal death metal using LSDJ (sometimes Korg's M01 instead) and his vocals.
I use sample kits for drums, and the pulses for errthing else. Noise is for dummies.
We don't have much recorded right now, but we have a couple EPs planned once he gets out of jail later this year.

My friend Jiffypop23 uses a tracker program in Linux and has had no problem at all (I use a Mac).

Yeah, I've gotten it to work without any trouble in Qtractor and FL Studio.
Sonik has Ableton on his macbook, I'll try and sync my GB on there next time I'm at his house.

Sure you could do wav, but nsf's are so much smaller wink
There's most likely an nsf library for whatever language you're coding the game in.

BTW I wrote to Rockbox alternative mp3 player firmware team to please include Klystrack modules for replay... Rockbox supports playing Atari ST, SID, Atari 800, NES, SNES, PC Engine, MSX and KONAMI and many more modules... So why not Klystrack???

Is there a super kawaii pink one already made or will I have to do it myself? wink
