Atari STe - £50

It's a 520 STe but with full 4mb memory upgrade. Comes with mouse, port extension (so you don't have to mess around with awkward underneath ports), some disks, plus decent AV cable which makes use of the STe's phono plugs for better sound quality.

Behringer 1202FX - £60

In excellent condition, comes with all original packaging - box, manuals, etc. Only used live once, so it's practically like new. 12 inputs, in-built effects, more info here: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/1202FX.aspx

Akai LPD8 - £20

Lightweight USB-powered MIDI controller / production pad. Brand new condition, with original CD, warranty & USB cable. Unused - bought it then realised it wasn't what I needed.

Postage depends on location. Let me know where you are & we'll figure something out.

PM or post if interested!

I just figured comptroller would go round and ask people.

That happens too! We also accept submissions, though I guess we've been less open about that this time around.

Contact email address is ultrachipfestival[at]gmail[dot]com. No guarantees, but there's always the open mic. smile

I can't share some of the work I've done this weekend (I'm sort of half participating, half using the time as an excuse to write for my next EP), but I can share something I've written over a few hours yesterday and today. It's for a game (waiting on feedback from the developer).

The music is a loop for a futuristic RTS game called Tower Commodore. The track is a mix of C64 samples, a brass section, a few simulated Sega instruments, and other bits and pieces.

I really like the look of this game, and the music brings a nice emotional punch to it. Also I think I could listen to it on loop for hours.

Yes! Nailed it. That was the inspiration. Love that creepy minimal polygon style.

I like all of this a lot.

Aberdeen is Thursday. Edinburgh is Friday. Tonight is for getting rested and pumped at the same time.

Thanks for the comments! Big thanks also to CDK for putting this out.

Technical details for anyone interested: LSDJ throughout, 1x DMG on tracks 1-3, 2 sync'd DMGs on track 4.

Some of the noises on this are so sick I can't even deal with it. Great work.

Dual poster excitement:

I love how the site looks. I'll be checking out the releases.

I may be biased, but this is a really good article. Well done sir.
